We spent a pleasant 3 hours on this trip. Went through Plaka, almost sitting in the restaurants, the roads were so narrow. Went up into the mountains, had lunch and visited a raki bar - good fun!

We found the trip to Plaka very pleasant. After coffee in one of the tavernas there was enough time to enjoy a walk around the village before the train headed back to Elounda, stopping to pick people up on the way.

We want to get on the blue train at Plaka, pay the driver the €15 each, visit the mountain village and then back to Plaka. Is this OK, and where does the train stop for photos at Plaka?
