Place looked cute, but service was brutal. Waiter made a point to over charge us and the only patrons were the pharmacy workers and the waiter.
Watch out foe the pigeon attacks as well ask the waiter did nothing to stop them. Don’t bother stopping here as Chania has countless other great options.

Not very sympathetic waitress - Maria. Reserved locals. Don't care about others. I think they don't like tourist. Also be careful - agressive cat. Maybe if you want to get drunk or if you are here with friends who you like anyway - then it is maybe ok. I found the place boring and the people rather unfriendky. But you can decide for yourself.

We were looking for something a little different from the standard tourist bars, for a nice coctail - Ababa Bar was perfect.
Cocktails were really nice and good value, had a cheeky couple before (or after dinner) twice in our 4 nights in Chania.

My husband and I came across this bar on the first afternoon we arrived in Chania. Only coffee and a soft drink ordered but the service from the hostess who served us was so polite we decided to go again today. Again, only tea and coffee ordered but we will definitely return for post dinner drinks at some point during our holiday. The bar inside is also an art studio. Beautifully bohemian and thoroughly charming. It was a sea of calm in what can sometimes feel a crazy, chaotic Chania. Please try this place, we believe you won't regret it!

Very friendly bar. Maria one of the servers was made for that job. She was friendly, fast attentive with attention to detail. She served us once and remembered our order the second time. Great drinks, fun atmosphere, great mix of people. We were looking for a gay bar in Chania and this was the closest thing. Gay friendly environment, but not exclusive. Closes late, a lot of character in the decor. Would highly recommend!!!

A fun relaxing bar that is gay friendly and eclectic in it design. Good cocktails and well priced ! Definitely recommend.

We visited ababa on 2 occasions on our trip to Chania. We loved the music and the atmosphere. On our second visit the staff Marilla was very engaging and welcoming to all customers/ guests. What a lovely young lady. She was a credit to Cretan family. We wish you well.

We enjoyed the shade in this friendly little bar with quirky decor. Situated in a pretty little side street it was a nice break in our morning.
