The perfect place to stay if you want to see the sunset! I think is better to stay not properly on the lighthouse to catch the whole perfection of the sun downing into the sun...but it's a personal think.

the most incredible lighthouse- a landmark of Chania you can walk there and as soon as you reach it you will enjoy a panoramic vista of the old port-especially if you walk late evening there!!

Whilst this is just a lighthouse on the harbour it is in keeping the old port and takes centre stage. We visited during the day so didn’t benefit from seeing it in its full glory. Compliments well this lovely part of the old town.
