Surfing Crete is the only surf school that gives you the chance to learn how to Stand up paddle or Surf in Chania at the best surf spots and at the most beautifull beaches of the island guided by our local instructors. We will check the forecast , search for the best spot according to your level and take your there for a surf lesson that will make your holidays in Crete a lifetime expierience! All of our activities are done with total safety as all of our surf school's instructors are certified by International Surfing Association(ISA) and expierienced lifeguards certified by Lifeguard Hellas.

Me a surfer? I never would have thought I could ever do it. My first experience with Surfing Crete was three years ago being a true beginner. The instructors are so knowledgeable and helped me learn all the basics of surfing. The best part was the thrill of actually getting up and riding a wave with their help. They also offer stand up paddle and swim lessons for kids. Three years later, I go every summer multiple times to perfect my technique and learn more and more. It’s the best time in a wonderful location with wonderful people that truly want to see you succeed. If you are in chania, Crete it’s a must do!

The whole team at Surfing Crete was wonderful and I am so happy to have had a lesson from Nik. It was the right mix of theory and practice and feel even in one lesson I will take away many insights that will help to improve my surfing moving forward. If you're in Chaina, don't pass up this wonderful opportunity to enjoy the waves, view and sea!

My 11 years old son had a 1.5h session with them and he really enjoyed it. There were 4 kids in their group, all absolute beginners, and all could stand up and surf same waves, which says it all.
They also informed us about when the waves would be good for the lesson.

It was such an amazing experience! We were at Crete one month and surfed a couple of times per week. Alex and his team are amazing! We rented the boards and surfed by ourselves by they always helped us with advices. We also could texted them to WhatsApp to check the waves conditions. Thus, it was not necessary to come and waste our time in case of small or gigantic waves. The best school! Highly recommend.

My son spent an amazing day surfing with them . So many surf classes seem just more like childcare in water .. but these instructors really took time and care with the students .
My son took 2 lessons in the day we were there , each time concentrating on different techniques.
And to round off his magical day they even lent him a board so he could keep practising after …

My 7 year old daughter did 2 lessons with them, she had so much fun, it was her first experience and she got so excited that she asked me to continue.
We found a welcoming environment, kids friendly, seriousness and professionalism. Absolutely a pleasure to meet them! The answers were always quick and friendly meeting our needs.

Our lesson with Saavy with wonderful! She was thorough in teaching everything and gave such good encouragement and advice. Fun and friendly personality that was passionate about teaching her students. Could not ask for a better teacher<3

The area is magnificent! Decent waves and very nice equipment! The lesson was 1.5 hr ( 20 mins of theory and the rest practice in the water)… we all stood up in our first day and surfed some waves!
