Very happy with our experience and would have no hesitation in recommending Mortoglou to others. Renting the bike was very easy with the paperwork quick and the staff very helpful. We hired a motorbike and it was in very good condition and rode well, although the helmets provided were slightly older, but they still did the job. We did a fairly large tour in one day, picking up at 9am and returning at 8pm and the drop off was very quick and easy with no issues. A good way to see all those places slightly off the beaten track.

Our experience with this company was very good! They are honest about their prices and don’t charge you extra for little things (like going over the max. range per day). We’ve had some bad experiences with smaller local rental companies, but this place is good!

I do not recommend. The lady that helped us was very rude, the hours listed are completely different from what she said, plus she was charging an insane amount. We left and went down the street to Special Rental, and they were friendly, helpful and wonderful.

Rented a big 300cc scooter for 7 days. Nice, polite people.
The scooter was perfect, wobbly mirrors were fixed immediately,
the price was a bit high at first - but after some discussion it was OK in the end.
Return was easy, no complaints. Recommended.

Not recommended. The man wanted to keep 50€ in the end because I drove 7km too much. My Plan says 1€ per KM too much. When I brought it to his attention, he totally freaked out and attacked me, so I even have bruises on my arm. Absolutely disturbing experience at the end of the holidays. It's a shame.

I rent a motorbike at this place at the end of August and my experience was very good.
First of all, they offered me cheapest price in all Chania, then they were very kind and helpful.
In particular I want to thank Iakovos, that was so kind to help me printing my boarding cards,and also sent back to me in Italy my sunglasses that I left in the motorbike,after I left.
I appreciate a lot these little things, it's absolutely the best way to deal with tourists.

First of all, I would love to give this company a five star review. All vehicles are a very high standard, the employees are all really friendly, and it is very quick from walking in to driving off.
But unfortunately I have to give this a 1 star review. I hire a quad almost a month ago now, and have not received back the 200 euro deposit I paid. I understand delay in international payments but would not expect to wait this long. I just hope I do get my money back.
Please pay cash if use this company as to not get caught out, but also note that this review will be getting deleted with a new 5 star review added if I ever receive my money back

Looks perfect at the beginning. But after a friend had a small accident they charged him extra costs in the amount of 700 euros even though a scooter had minor bruises (as all do). No tax invoices were given to prove real costs. And also BE AWARE of small print. Even though they rent you powerful scooters after you say you want to go around (western part of the) island they complicate when you go out of Chania county.
You can see in the photo the scooter is in a good shape even after the accident. They used a classical renter’s trick to bill the customer and later rent it further.

I rented a scooter from these folks, left cash deposit, had two great day's rides, returned it with no problems whatsoever. They seemed a little doubtful watching me ride off as I am nearly 70 but said nothing. Nice folks. Once you get out of Chania proper the roads are nearly empty and the views along the coast are spectacular. Was chased by Zeus in the form of a black ram at one point!
