This little place is amazing. Open 10pm to 4am. We had the best night of our holiday here, although we had sore heads the next day! (beware the spirits are very strong!). Yannis really knows what he's about with this niche little bar. A wide range of rock played here to suit all tastes. If you tell them what you like they will play it if they can. Yannis even bought us a drink. If you like rock you will like it here. Top place thoroughly recommended!

This was the first bar my friend and I visited on the night we arrived in Agios Nikolaos. We read all the reviews and were looking forward to hearing some good rock music. Unfortunately, the experience was not as we expected. The barwoman was not that friendly or talkative and more interested in pouring shots for herself and her friend. There was a chain smoker next to us inside the bar and our eyes were nipping with the smoke. The DJ was in his own world, playing music for himself and never spoke to us. We stayed for three rounds of drinks, but once we got back to the hotel with our clothes stinking of smoke, we decided it wasn't worth a return visit. Unfortunately, the Zep rock bar was not open yet for the season. Pity!

The usual mainstream rock played here. Fairly good value for drinks and you get snacks with each round. Just not great music choice. (Meatloaf and the like)

Wow. Location is amazing. Music is great and they played all of our requests - even my really obscure one. (Not many places will put mariachi rock on for you!) The staff are brilliant. SO friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Really attentive if you're outside as well - you don't feel neglected.
As with everywhere in Crete you get complimentary bar nibbles with your drinks. Here it's crisps and raw veggies. Lovely!
They also have a shisha pipe and they are the cheapest place for it in Agios.
They open at 10 and it's well worth the wait. Sitting there watching the fishing boats come and go, with great atmosphere, a good shisha, good drinks at very competitive prices and your favourite music. Doesn't get better than that.
Just maybe put a lock on the door to the ladies loo!

I have lost count of how many nights I spent here during my stay in Agios. All I can say, is thank you for the amazing sound, drinks, fun and hospitality! I will be back!
