We decided to do a day trip. Almost 8 hours on transportation (ferry, bus). Our trip from Rethymno was cancelled and we had to go by bus to leave from Heraklion (added quite a few hours to the trip). You spend less than 5 hours on Santorini. No time to see or experience anything. But, could have found something better to do in Crete and bought a postcard of Santorini as it is a tourist trap. Wouldn’t recommend to do for anyone. Also, tour offered breakfast and dinner. Literally, packaged bread for breakfast/lunch with a tiny piece of meat in some of the breads. Total waste of food as no one was eating them. Better to buy something off the ferry.

The fast bait ride was lots of fun, but the snorkeling ... eh. There’s nothing to see. It’s nothing like snorkeling in the Caribbean. The activity is fun but don’t expect to see much. This outfit was great and friendly it’s just that the location didn’t offer a lot in the way for snorkeling.

Dear Guest, thank you very much for your review and detailed information about the excursion. Of course snorkeling can't show you the hidden wonders of the Aegean Sea, but we believe that next time you should participate in a scuba Dive from Chania or Heraklion area. We are absolutely convinced that it would be totally satisfying and maybe even better than in the Caribbean. We hope to see you soon again and have the pleasure to offer you a fantastic experience and a glass of Raki. Kind Regards

We stayed in Heraklion and we wanted to check out Chania, Rethymnon, and Lake Kournas without spending a fortune on Taxis. This "excursion" is perfect for that. It gets you to visit all these places. Do not expect much from the guides--are not terribly helpful or charismastic. You have maximum 1 hour an 45 min to each place and you are on foot so don't expect to explore in depth. They drop you off at the water side of each place which is all we wanted/expected. Did shopping, ate/drank at cafes and enjoyed the views. It takes an entire day--longer if tour-mates are late--because the time to drive to these places on your own would take 60-90 min. Theres a lot of time spent sitting around on the bus taking naps which was good for us because we stayed out way too late the night before.

We booked tour from Chania to Samaria Gorge and everything was spottless! The bus picked us up right in front of the hotel we were staying in, right on agreed time. The guide was super helpful, the driver was very skillful and everything was just the way it was written in the inicial trip proposal. Super happy with everything.
