As tourists in Greece, we wanted to see more about what makes this amazing country so special, so naturally we wanted to experience its famous honey. We reached out requesting a tour and they were very responsive, making it easy to schedule a visit.

What a wonderful experience! We learned so much about bees, the making of honey, and the importance of these amazing creatures in our world. The guys who created it are clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.

And the honey is so delicious!!! I bought some for myself, and to give as gifts--it makes a much better souvenir than anything you'd buy in tourist shops.

Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Greece!

We had a fantastic, educational, and very interesting time at MoKa. Thank you so much to our guide, John. We recommend this to anyone visiting the area whether you’re a couple or a family. We’ve walked away with an invigorated appetite to save the bees, knowing much more about the topic and having had so much fun on our 2 hour tour. And, we also had the opportunity to buy some amazing quality honeys.

20 minutes from Delphi, on the edge of a HUGE valley of olive trees and wild thyme, there is a wonderful place called Moka Honey. The mission of the two amazing men that run this apiary is to educate and bring awareness to the importance of bees in our world. We learned so much more than we could have imagined! This was a highlight of our trip to Greece and I highly recommend this experience to ANYONE visiting the region. The only cost was 8 euro per adult, which buys you a jar of some of the most delicious, raw honey you will ever eat. You will want to take home as much of this wonderful honey as you can! Please, do yourself a favor and put this on your list. What an unexpected and unforgettable experience. ❤️🐝

A foray into the Greek countryside, the place has been so thoughtfully adapted to welcome visitors. John studied insects at university and gave us great information about bees and how they work - some fascinating surprises. I was a little nervous when I heard about the costume I had to wear imagining myself in a cloud of bees! But it was absolutely fine and I was never scared at all. Makes a great photo! The owners were just in Tshirts :). I left feeling much more confident with bees, and much more appreciative of all they do for us, from pollination to all the products we get from them. Nikiforos & John shared their love of nature and these fascinating insects. I appreciate their efforts to raise awareness of how important bees are so we can look after them, and of how much care they put into their business and to welcoming guests. We bought some of their high quality thyme honey as gifts to take back home. A tourist activity I have never done before anywhere in the world in all my many travels. Refreshing, fun, memorable and highly recommended. The response was quick when I requested a booking by date and time slot on their website.

This was a brilliant experience and surpassed all expectations. It was super easy to book. I just sent John a message on WhattsApp and he was very prompt and friendly with his replies and his english is great.

John and Nikiforos (the owners) are so passionate and knowledgeable about bees and honey. The format of the tour was fab, with so much information given and ample opportunities to ask questions. They go through the whole lifecycle of a bee and elements of their communication which is actually way more interesting than I expected. Then you get suited up and get to peak into the bees world when they open the hive and you get to see it all in action!

We got to taste honey straight from the hive which was pretty cool, and John took some fab photos of us that he emailed within an hour of our tour!

The tour was delivered with such knowledge and passion, the product is incredible, the packaging is gorgeous, the setting is lovely and the guys were both so nice. It really is well worth a visit and if I'm in the area I'll definitely go again.

You leave from Moka Honey with an entirely new perspective about bees and honey. In the few hours we were there the incredible guides taught us so much! The experience was the highlight of the day! It is very easy to book and our guides were extremely helpful. They produce one of the best honeys I have ever tasted and they have a true passion about making a terrific product!

Searching for something to do in Delphi area, I randomly found MoKa Honey and decided to call them and they arranged for a tour that same day. It was a super experience! Both my nine year old son and I loved the place, the people and the beeeesss... John and his colleague took all the time for us, answered all questions, and shared such passion for their work, that we (almost!) instantly wanted to become bee-keepers in a beautiful place like theirs ourselves :).I recommend anyone to join this experience and to taste and buy some real, delicious, and biological honey!

We visited here yesterday and it was amazing, the tour is informative and very enjoyable. In my opinion there is no one who wouldn't love it. It's made me see Bees and Honey very differently. Strongly recommend people to get in touch to organise a tour. They were very accommodating, and were able to do the tour the day after our phone call at the time we wanted.

Wow- what an amazing find was this!
We visited Yiannis and Nikifiros on the way back from Galaxidi. Their passion for what they do is evident from the moment you meet them, so you know you are in for a unique experience...
During our visit to their apiary we learnt about bees, honey-making and so much more, under olive trees and surrounded by thyme bushes. The highlight was wearing the bee-keepers uniform and holding the honeycomb frame with hundreds of honey bees going on about their business...and later tasting honey fresh from the hive!
Took a year’s supply of their honey with us...

We had a wonderful time as a family! In the middle of nature and olive trees, Jon explained us everything about bees life and honey making! In a really secure outfit, we had opportunity to discover beehives (houses) and how they work… as well as manipulate some and taste honey directly from the hive! Amazing experience and taste!
Kids loved it and are not afraid of bees anymore.

Definitely a must do as a family or a couple if your are in Delphi region. And of course the honey is wonderful
