Mostly devoted to ancient times, the museum offers also a good collection of IWW/IIWW stuff, including weaponry and even a part of real submarine!

As far as museums go, this could be better. Only €4 per person, but the layout and exhibits are only so-and-so. The young person at the reception wasn't able to answer my queries and referred me to office staff at the other end of the...More

A somewhat "out of the way" fascinating maritime museum. If you are interested in ship models, paintings, memorabilia with an hour or so free for €4 great value. Unfortunately a number of the exhibits do not have English translations. The place looks rather closed from...More

We only went here as I wanted to see the port of Piraeus and this in it's self is interesting as you can watch the ferries come and go. The museum is located about a 20 minute walk from the metro so you get to...More

Worth a visit if you happen to be in Piraeus with some time on your hands, but by no mans a must-see attraction. Some interesting exhibits, but little is made of them

It is a lovely museum easily to go not too far from the center of Piraeus. You have to see if it is open before you go.Interesting ship models.

We are sailors and sea junkies. This was great for us. It is under the road and inside the Zea Marina area. 4.00euro is good. Great info on islands and history. There is an incredibly jam packed library. Terrific art and naval features.
