We booked the 12PM ferry from Piraeus to Poros. Got there about 11.30 and boarded immediately the Flying Cat. By 12.20 the ship had still not left port and an announcement goes on that there is a problem and it won't be operating. We were asked to join a queue for refunds and other alternatives. Problem is we were front... More

I was very pleased with this quick high-speed ferry ride from Mykonos to Santorini. The ferry was very comfortable; the trip was speedy; the food choices were ample; and the WiFi worked very well. I hope to use Hellenic Seaways again in the near future.

We booked the ferry from Piraeus to Naxos online, the e-ticket is enough to get you on board of the Highspeed Catamaran: smooth journey, nice views from the big windows, good catering, friendly staff. The information on the HSW website on the boarding time might be altered "be present at least an hour before departure" (for passengers without cars) >... More

Took business class. Efficient and comfortable. Friendly and helpful attendants. Business class doesn't really have a view except out the side windows, but is worth it since it is less crowded and quieter.

We used Hellenic sea ways for our trip. It was fairly clean but very efficient. They are very organized and it is the best way to travel if you want to see the islands.

Suggested taking Seajet from Mykonos to Santorini if you don't want to be 2+ hrs late (vs scheduled)

It's an efficient way to get to the islands. The boat is clean and comfortable. We used the Highspeed twice and were late in arriving at our destination both times. The second time by more than an hour. This seems the norm so don't book a tight flight out relying on the time they say you will arrive.

I am not a frequent user of the ferries in Greece but while there on vacation I used Hellenic Seaways to travel from Piraeus to Hydra (return) and from Heraklion to Santorini (return). On both trips the ferries left and arrived on time. The seats were comfortable. On my first day of vacation I landed in Athens and took the... More

My wife and I traveled to Greece. We took 3 Hellenic Seaways ferries. A regular ferry from Athens to Mykonos, and high speed ferries from Mykonos to Paros and Paros to Santorini. Seeing Im not crazy about boat rides, we purchased VIP seatings on all of the ferries. The VIP seating was great. More private and had table service. Overall... More

We took the faster boat option from Athens to Santorini. We did decide to upgrade our tickets to business class after reading some reviews, and it was definitely worth the money. The standard ticket area was very crowded. With upgrading our tickets, we were in a separate area with the VIP tickets. There were different bathrooms, which also was convenient.... More
