My husband and I were lucky enough to book a 4 day driving tour of Athens and the Peloponnese region. Michael went above and beyond in all ways. He moved the itinerary around to accomplish my husband's dream of visiting Thermopylae, he ensured our comfort (even loaning me his jacket in unexpectedly rainy weather) and taught us so much about the regions we passed through on the way to our various stops. Michael is incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history of Greece and mythology. Stopping to eat at local places with the best food, avoiding the touristy spots (or timing them to avoid the large crowds), Michael and his AMAZING Tours made this the most stress free vacation we have ever had.
Due to a protest one of the days of our tour, some sites were closed, but he made multiple calls to find us alternatives. I cannot say enough about Michael and his service and will be recommending him to anyone I know looking for a driving tour in this area.

My partner and I travelled in from Sydney, Australia, with only a couple of days to explore the beauty of Athens. We had done our research, and were keen to explore some of the ‘off the beaten’ road options a little outside of Athens. The day before we contacted Michael who could not do enough to help us, within a matter of hours we were booked on to the Cave of Lakes day Tour.
This tour was without doubt, the highlight of our trip in Greece. In fact, it is possibly one of the best tours either of us have ever done in our lives. This is largely thanks to our wonderful driver Theo.
We started in the Corinth Canel, followed by the ancient Corinth Archeological site and area, then headed to a very quaint little town, Diakafto Village where we caught a very unique train (highly recommended) through the mountains to Kalavytra Village. It was in this mountainous village we dined in a traditional Greek restaurant, whilst i cannot remember the name of the restaurant it translated into “Homemade” and that is exactly what we got. The lovely lady who ran the establishment could not do enough to ensure our trip was memorable, and Theo helped us navigate the menu to ensure we had an authentic Greek experience. Food was incredible (wish we had bigger belly’s to fit it all in)
Finally we headed to the Cave of Lakes, which was magical. This tour is around 10 hours, and so having an incredible Driver like Theo, made the difference between a good and exceptional trip. This was above exceptional. He was knowledgeable, fun and knew exactly what to say to keep us engaged at all moments of the trip. Including teaching us a bit of Greek.
For the whole day we felt like VIPs due to his attentiveness to all our needs.
One of the benefits of going with Michael’s Amazing Tours is that they are very accommodating to your needs, so if you have a plan to visit certain locations but not too sure how to pull it all together, reach out to Michael who I am sure will be happy to help you and if he isn’t already booked up, we recommend you request Theo as your driver!
We will come back to Athens and we will be booked ALL of our adventures through Michael’s Amazing Tours and we will be requesting Theo in every situation.
We should also mention Theo's car is clean, comfortable, air conditioned and comes with as much cold water as you need to drink.

Where do you start when describing the best touring experience, you have ever had?
I have traveled on vacations to 23 countries and have taken my daughter with me to 13 of them.
By far Michael’s Amazing Tours has been the best. Michael pays attention to the details and is always considerate, prompt, and courteous. He is the perfect gentleman driver and tour operator. He knows the streets of Athens like his own hand. If there was traffic, he would adjust to prevent unwarranted delays.
We took a 2-day tour to Meteora and Delphi with him.
The first day of the 2 days included a trip to the archaeological site and museum at Delphi. When arriving there were several busses unloading at the gate. He told us our ticket would include the site there and the museum a few hundred meters down the road. With a quick discussion it was determined we would be best to do the museum first and then the site to avoid the bus crowds. Practical and a perfect decision. There were few people at both locations when we were there.
The places we stopped to eat and the hotel he had reserved were all exquisite. The knowledge he has about the area is really Amazing. Michael knew all the best photographic vantage points around Meteora. This is very important for these beautiful mountain top monasteries. When we returned to him and his van after touring a monestrary he would always offer a cold bottle of water. One small monastery was down a forested path. He directed us to go down to it and then after continue going down the hill and he would be waiting. I felt sorry for those hiking up from below or back up to the top. For us it was a leisurely stroll down hill.
After this experience, I have arranged another tour with Michael’s Amazing Tours for tomorrow. I want him to show us around Athens and out to the Cape Sounion. His full day tour I am sure will be rewarding. I will review that when we have completed another day with Michael.

With the help of Michael's Amazing Tours, our visit to Athens exceeded all expectations. We can't thank them enough!
Michael did a fantastic job organizing our visit, making awesome recommendations for places to visit, and great places to eat. While all our communications were through email, he nailed it and was very quick to respond to any of my questions. He took care of reservations and even prepaid a few of our tickets to ensure we would be able to get them. We had an unexpected plan change and Michael (and Panos) made adjustments so easily.
Our driver, Panos, was amazing. He was so friendly and provided colorful history of areas we travelled through as well as the sites we were seeing. He was always on time which took the stress out of traveling a foreign country.
Superb customer service. We will definitely use their services when we visit Greece again.

Michael was the complete tour guide for our day trip to Delphi and nearby areas. Michael both performed his professional duties and tailored the experience to our wants and needs and the circumstances. He arrived on time, expertly navigated the narrow, steep, difficult streets of Athens and beyond, observed all safety precautions including CoVid protocols, and got us back safe, sound, and satisfied. Even more than all of this, he made the experience memorable. He was deeply versed in Greek history, folklore, and contemporary knowledge, he went above and beyond to account for weather, traffic, and the sites we preferred to see, and he was otherwise fun and engaging, talking at times and allowing us to sit and watch the scenery in silence at others. If you are lucky enough to get him, I highly recommend Michael to anyone taking a tour in Greece.

My husband and I visited Greece for the first time last week and did three days of private tours with Michael's company: Athens and Cape Sounion, Delphi, and Peloponnese highlights. Panos was our very personable driver for all three tours. From the booking process to the final day of our tours, all aspects of our experiences were flawless. During the drives, Panos extensively talked about all of the sites that we were going to see and he was a wealth of knowledge. We were amazed by the perfect timing with each stop which enabled us to avoid most of the larger tour groups/crowds. My husband and I have done countless tours all over the world and the ones that we did in Greece rate at the top. It will be difficult and maybe impossible to find high-quality private tours at these reasonable prices with another company, not to mention the personalized touches that included customized gifts after our last tour. If you visit Greece, a Michael's Amazing Tour is a must-do!!

Could not have been better in any way! We would like to thank Michael for making sure that we had a truly amazing time. Two full day tours and two shorter ones plus airport pick up and drop off. We had to reschedule a few times due to Covid etc an Michael was extremely accommodating each time. He arranged for us to be picked up at the airport (and dropped off on departure) and this went very smoothly indeed and at a reasonable cost. Our two guides for different days were Panos and Theodore and they both took us on some wonderful tours going above and beyond what we expected. Both very polite and really well informed about the locality, history etc. We saw many things that we would not have seen without their knowledge. Made all the difference! They looked after our every need, arranged excellent restaurants (no pressure to use!) with great food and a good local character at sensible prices (less than we expected!) The cars used were high quality Mercedes and water was supplied every day. Michael also turned up at the start of ne tour to make sure were happy. Which we were! A nice touch! All in all, we cannot think of anything which could have been improved! Very friendly and accommodating with excellent local knowledge (in English!) and always flexible and helpful in every way. Highly recommended!

We had the most amazing time with Michael’s Amazing Tours, specifically because of our driver, Panos. Not only did he drive us safely, he opened our doors every single time we got out of the car, was full of fun facts and history about all of our surroundings, and he was extremely kind and professional. He was truly one of the most kind, patient, and courteous men I’ve ever interacted with! We would love to use this company again, especially if we got to see Panos again!

My family and I booked a trip with Michael’s Amazing Tours this summer, and it was nothing short of incredible! Our trip was made so much better by our amazing tour guide, Phillip. He knew the history, stories, traditions, and culture about each amazing place we visited while on our tour. He was knowledgeable, he was enthusiastic, he was intentional, and he really shared his love and interest in each place with us fully. Each stop on our tour was excellent. We got to visit archaeological sites, museums, and the famous Meteora. The accommodations that were booked for us were wonderful, with delicious breakfasts, and very comfortable rooms and beds. The van that we rode in was roomy, he equipped us with car seats for our children, and we felt very safe while driving with him. This was definitely a smooth way to visit many different places all over the country of Greece. Phillip was also extremely personable, funny, and we just really enjoyed his company. He gave us great recommendations of new foods to try and even shared insider knowledge of how to enjoy Greek Salad the right way. :) Phillip became like a friend to us over the course of our three days together and we would highly recommend this company, and Phillip. We can’t wait to reconnect in our future travels here.

Yes, 'amazing' is no exaggeration! We had booked a 5-hour Corinth tour, as we had visited Athens previously. Panos (an excellent driver) arrived early and took great care of us. As we were on a cruise which had visited Israel, Cyprus and Ephesus, we were keen to follow the story of St,Paul's travels. Panos was very knowledgeable on Paul's time in Corinth. The first two calls were at the standard tour destinations of the eastern end of the Corinth Canal and the ruins and museum at Ancient Corinth, where ample time (at our discretion) was available. And then the amazing bits - the modern mosaic at St Paul's Church, the climb by road to the dizzy heights of the fortress of Acrocorinth (not suitable for tour buses), a visit to the former Corinth harbour from which Paul sailed to Ephesus, and finally the western end of the canal, where we were fortunate to see the submerged bridge come up after a yacht had passed. The trip was a great experience, which we can recommend without reservation.

we would like a 5hr tour of Corfu. We arrive via Carnival Horizon ship on May 6th 2018 at 7am.. We need to be back on ship by 3pm. any suggestions? Marilyn & Frank Potenza you took us around Athens in 2016
