I was there with 2 friend May 2019. It was soo much fun. I loved making the Spanikopita as well as the Tzataiki. We had a great time, the food was so good and the view of the Acropolis from the rooftop where we dined was spectacular. I would highly recomend this experience.

A cafe and kitchen with very clean interior and facilities, fine food and affordable. I liked the treats on offer and the staff were VERY friendly and polite. I appreciated it.

We had a delightful time in our class of 8 students learning cooking techniques from Stam. We prepared dark chocolate & orange mousse, spinach pie, tzazaki, Greek salad, and an eggplant dish (meat eaters prepped a chicken dish). We then dined rooftop and watched as the lights of the parthenon gradually came on. We were served wine & juice with our meal. Stam was personable, informative & enthusiastic about Greek cuisine. It was a wonderful experience.

I am a big fan of taking cooking classes around the world. I really enjoyed this cooking class learning to make Tzatzki, a chicken dish, spanikopita, chocolate mouse, greek potatos, and a greek salad. 8 of my friends took this class at the same time and we all enjoyed it. After spending some time in the hot kitchen learning we headed to the rooftop to a table set for all of us with an amazing view of the Acropolis. We posed for photos before the food came out and watched the sunset over the Aropolis and the slow lighting of the lights around it as dusk turned to night. We enjoyed beer or wine along with the meal we made and talked until 10pm. The staff was amazing and enjoyed eating and talking with us.A great Experience!!!

Honestly if I could give these guys ten stars I would. They made the entire class funny fun and entertaining for my girls group. WE had a blast and loved the enthusiasm they had for cooking and the recipes though not my usual style were amazing and simple to make I would suggest this to any and all visitors of Greece to give this a shot and hopefully you get these two amazing guys, who helped and coached us through the process and encouraged us to step away from our norm and be bold and try new things.

A group of my friends and I took this cooking class with chefs Spiros and Stamatis. We really enjoyed ourselves. We learned how to make traditional Greek dishes in a hands-on and supportive atmosphere. Not only did we learn certain techniques, we were given a history of some of the dishes and ingredients. I would like to note that both chefs had a great sense of humor and were easy on the eyes. Overall, we had a great experience. The view from the rooftop dinner was stunning! I would definitely recommend this class to travelers and natives alike.

Our family of 6 (4 teenagers) had a great time cooking and eating our dinner. Vivian and the rest of the staff at Meliartos were terrific -- explaining how to do everything, step by step, and making sure all of us were involved. The food was so delicious! And, we got to eat it on the balcony with a lovely view of the Acropolis. This was definitely a highlight of our days in Athens and we would highly recommend it.

Our 3 generation family group of 4 had a spectacular July 4th cooking with Spiros. Our 18 year old grandson was as enthusiastic as the adults and was the first to volunteer at each step of preparation. Spiros is a great leader, funny and friendly and a good teacher. Sitting on the rooftop enjoying our meal with the Acropolis in the background was amazing. We would do it again without question.
