The area
Neighborhood: Thissio / Makriyanni
Named after the well-preserved Thission (ancient temple of Hephaestus), Thissio is blessed with a small wooded park and some less frenetic streets that offer numerous quieter places to stay and eat. Largely pedestrianized Apostolou Pavlou Street runs between the Acropolis and forested Filopappou Hill, well worth climbing for more great panoramas, until it merges with Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. This leads to the up-and-coming area of Makriyanni, whose centerpiece is the magnificent new Acropolis Museum. Opposite the museum is the entrance to the southern slopes of the Acropolis, while the eponymous metro station nearby is at the top of Makriyanni Street, another strip of touristic cafés and restaurants.

We used them for airport transfers for a large group, and the people were pleasant to deal with, were exactly where they said they would be and when. The coach was comfortable - I can't really fault them

Booked the airport to hotel transfer with 4Transfers. The website was easy to use and included clear pricing. Our group of 8 people were met by the driver promptly and were taken to our requested hotel. The van was new and clean and had plenty of room for the 8 of us. Would recommend this service and would use them again.

Just got back from a 14 day Athens RT cruise on Seabourn. What do you want from a transfer service? You want them on time and can change when your travel situation changes. Well they did it all. Meet us at the airport, on arrival, on time. We got to the hotel and found out there was a strike at the port and had to go to another port about 80 miles away, they changed our reservation and got us there.
Upon our return to Athens, strike still going on, ship again rerouted to new port. They not only changed our pickup port, but we were able to arrange a beautiful day trip down the coast. Went to Poseidon's temple, nice natural spring pond, and a wonderful lunch at a marina. Just in case you are still not convinced, had a 6AM flight, they were waiting in the lobby for us at 3:30AM. Don't think I need to say more...... Cheers

Excellent transfer service. Was an all-around wonderful experience for us. Even though our flight arrived late, the very personable and informative driver got us to the port in plenty of time to make our ferry's departure...even in the vehicle type we had booked! Would use them again!

We where 9 persons (incl 1 infant) who travelled from the Airport to Pireus. Picked up on arrival on time by a very helpful driver who took us down to the right terminal at Pireus port. He drove safe and helped us with everything. Will highly recommend 4Transfers to others who need a minivan for large groups. Thank you and see you next time.

We used 4transfers.commfor our airport and cruise transfers. Also we had a day tour to Sounion just before our cruise. Our driver Panos was always on time, very informative and spoke good English. Highly recommended !!

This is the second year in a row that I have used 4transfers to handle a group transfer to and from the airport for students and professors in Athens. Professional, prompt, and reasonably priced services. They are super responsive by email. I had a difficult group this year in terms of people being added after the fact, arrival times changing, and even a major delay with two members of my group. The team at 4transfers handled everything in stride, never missing a beat. I will certainly be recommending them to any one I know who needs transfer services in Athens. They also arrange tours as well, but I haven't taken those yet. Good chance I may arrange a tour for my group next year, however.

Each transfer was the opposite of each other.
Expected the driver to be waiting for us at arrivals but could not find him. Spoke to another rep who called the office of 4 transfers and I was told that he is there and will be in the terminal within 5 minutes.
Twenty minutes later and another call from 4 transfers checking if he had turned up did we see him!
The driver helped us to the car and got behind the wheel and put headphones in and did not say a word for the rest of the journey.
Now the return leg..... same driver picks us up from the hotel, on time.
This time he was chatty talking about Athens, Greece, holidays etc. The journey was so different it was unbelievable.

They sent us a van which was clean and appeared new. The driver was prompt, dressed professionally, helped with the bags and very courteous. We needed to make a 7:20am ferry to Santorini,Greece and he got us there in plenty of time. Would use them again

Quisiera saber el precio de dos viajes:
1) Llego el dÃa 16/09 a las 0:50hs (a.m.) al aeropuerto de Atenas.
El domicilio al cual me dirijo es en la zona de Placa.
2)El dÃa 18/09 tengo que estar en el Pireo, a las 6:30hs (a.m) en la oficina de Blue Star Ferries, asi que aproximadamente tendriamos que salir del domicilio en Placa a las 5:45hs (a.m)
Solo solo una pasajera.
