Wonderful place to walk or drink something or eat something. You can observe the sea and the seagulls or the ships that sail to unknown destinations or adventures.

They have a row of restaurants directly on the water some of which serve delicious seafood. But to stroll around is not that interesting - unless you like looking at yachts.

No tourist rush in June. Sailing boats on the horizon. We took metro from Athens to Faliro and walked to Mikrolimano bay. Best day in Athens, I mean in Piraeus. Let your eye rest on the horizon.

The vibrant atmosphere, the many fish restaurants and variety of coffee and drink bars will defenetely make you want to stay long in this area. Also its near the sea and you can enjoy a log walk after your dinner and see the fancy yachts.

We had a day to kill in Piraeus waiting for an evening ferry and decided to take a taxi over to Mikrolimano for lunch – EUR7 with tip. Nice drive over past a beach. Mikrolimano is a small port with a row of restaurants along the front and a couple of fishing boat shacks. It was a nice place to spend the afternoon along the harbor and a nice lunch at Zorba’s.
Well worth a visit if you have time to kill in Piraeus and have already seen the sights in Athens.

I love go to this place especially at night and have sea food dinner there. There are many restaurants ,most of them offer sea food . Most of restaurants have brilliant view overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

This is a place you go to once and you just don't forget. It is really a lovely spot for either lunch or dinner or just to walk around. There are lots of restaurants where you can enjoy seafood, what else! Prices can be quite expensive, but you will definitely love the food. You can get here either by driving your car, and this is definitely not recommended (!!!), or better by taking the Metro from Athens, for example from Monastiraki Station; take the M1 line Kifissia-Pireas, direction Pireas, get off at Faliro station, walk about five minutes across the road, to the Bus station, and take Bus 20 , about eight minute trip to Mikrolimano.

This is a great area to walk through and eat on the water. There are so many restaurants that it is hard to choose just one. Keep in mind that fish is sold per gram or per kilo so the price can get very expensive if you don't know what you're ordering. Definitely worth a stop for dinner with a view. We took the Green line of the metro in the direction of Piraeus and got off at the second to last stop. We walked about 10 minutes through a sports park to get there.
