Private tour Greece did a fantastic job coordinating an itinerary for our party of 10. Dimitra was so responsive and helpful to tailor the arrangements based on our requests. Private Tours Greece arranged for hotels, all ferry tickets, private transfers between airport/hotels/ferries, COVID test appointments and some great optional tours. Vassilis was a great host/driver in Athens. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to allow the experts make your trip more stress free and enjoyable!

We have traveled to so many places like USA, UK, almost all European countries, Arab Countries, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand etc. Out of all these, this Private Tours- Greece Agent is the Bestttttttt one. The most liked ones are 1) They are very punctual whatever be the Time (For example - Early morning or midnight) 2) All are very Professionals and explains things very clearly. 3) Latest and very good vehicles they brought to travel. 4) Very much adjustable to our needs as per the situation. We strongly recommend all those who want to travel to Greece can arrange your Tour with this Agent.

My wife and I decided on a last minute trip to Greece for five days. Instead of trying to figure out what to do on our own, we chose to work with Private Tours Greece to ensure we were able to maximize our limited time in Greece. They helped us build a custom private five day tour package. We were extremely pleased with the service. From booking to final drop off at the airport, everything went incredibly well. I personally am used to poor customer service but was very pleasantly surprised. If I get the chance to come back to Greece I will use this company again.
A couple of key notes:
We booked everything through the company except our flight into Greece. We had drivers to and from the airport, twice. (We flew domestically to Santorini for a day, booked by the tour company). We also scheduled three private day tours, Meteora, Mystras, and Delphi. On the last day we had to cancel the Delphi tour due to weather and time for our departing flight, but were able to do some local shopping and the Temple of Poseidon before leaving. This last minute change as well as the driver accommodating us was amazing.
The day trips were amazing and the drivers were very knowledgeable and accommodating. With just my wife and I, we were able to stop as we wanted and move at our own pace instead of with a large tour group. The sites were amazing but not having to worry about transportation or how to get around made it truly enjoyable and stress free.
The drivers were always on time and very accommodating. Not one complaint about any of them. They were all very friendly and welcoming.
The staff that assisted with booking were also very easy to work with. They responded fast and made sure we had everything we needed.
Again, I highly recommend using this tour company going forward. Has to be our best vacation yet and a big part was thanks to Private Tours Greece.

Private Tours Greece helped us organize a custom tour on Corfu and Lefkas, as well as our transfer to the Cycladic islands (which would have been really complicated to figure out on our own). Fotini helped us figure out where we wanted to visit, and Patty helped us finalize the details and kept track of all of our contacts, transfers, and tickets. Each of the guides and drivers they selected was professional and knowledgeable, and we really got the best out of all the islands we visited. If you want a truly customized tour in Greece to see exactly the places you want without compromising, I highly recommend Private Tours Greece and especially Patty! This was our second fantastic trip with Private Tours Greece (the first was in 2018)! This time, we took the 10 day Tour of Ionian Islands. We had originally planned this trip for May of 2020, but due to COVID-19 lockdowns we had to hold off until May of 2022. Private Tours Greece kept our itinerary, with our deposit, on file and we were able to rebook without any issues once the lockdowns ended. We have a seven year old and needed to make multiple customizations to ensure all tours and excursions were as kid-friendly as possible. Private Tours Greece graciously obliged. Once in Greece, all of our pick-ups were on time, drivers were friendly and vehicles were spotless. All of the hotels selected for us were in excellent locations, were spotless and each had a plentiful breakfast package included (we always like to start our excursion days with a full breakfast – one less thing to worry about finding on our own). One of our boat excursions was cancelled because the minimum number of passengers was unavailable, but Private Tours Greece quickly came up with a wonderful alternative. Communication both while planning and while in country was excellent and appreciated. We highly recommend Private Tours Greece for a carefree and relaxing vacation in Greece. Next stop for us will be Crete, and when we plan the trip we will look to Private Tours Greece to do their magic once more

I took "16 Days Tour in Greek Islands & Athens". It started in Athens, then Kafalonia, Mykonos, Santorini, Crete and ended in Athens.
It was simply in one word AMAZZZZZZING.
The trip organization, the tours, the hotels, the transfer, everything was super. The tours within the islands were very well organized and on time. I can not tell which island I liked more, each one has its own flavor. Crete in itself needs at least 10-14 days. I did not have the time to see Chania.
My travel agent Dimitra, was very easily approachable, either by direct call or via whatsup.
I do recommend that the old city tour in Rythmons to be e guided tour rather than on our own, it will save time .
The hotels chosen were great, may bye the room in Athens was a bit small, but the staff, the location and the cleanness as well as the breakfast were perfect. The hiking in Samaria Gorge was a bit stressful for me, not being very fit, but was very glad to do it and will not miss it for anything.
Thank you Dimitra, Speros, Giuliana and everyone who was involved in this fantastic, amazing, wonderful trip. Simply unforgettable. I highly recommend Private Tours Greece for everyone thinking of visiting the wonderful country named Greece.

Our experience could not have gone better. I could not be more pleased with Private Tours Greece making all the arrangements and with Dimitra fulfilling all the responsibilities. Absolutely everything was fulfilled with great excellency and precision. This is not to say that there were not challenges present, but the way it was handled was entirely satisfactory. When I say challenges, I mean unexpected things, like someone did not feel well and needed to remain at the bus for a little while, like the weather, like changing the start time of the day to give the group an extra hour of sleep. Our guide, Giota was absolutely amazing as a guide and a human being. Truly, we could not have asked for a better guide. Her tender and gentle spirit was wonderful as she dealt with us. She cared for us, honored our wishes in every possible way, kept us moving and on task and yet allowed us to enjoy a stress-free trip. Her knowledge, expertise and professionalism are commendable in every possible way. The group felt welcomed, cared for, protected and guided by Giota in the best possible ways. The overall feeling during our trip with Giota was of relaxation and camaraderie.
Our driver, Kiriakos is a gentleman in every describable way. Our group was tremendously impressed by his driving skills (even though we were in a bus, it truly felt as if were in a luxury vehicle.) His willingness to take care of us, drive us to the closest drop off location, wait for us, always courteous and kind and yet professional and excellent at his job. Kiriakos was truly, the best driver that we have had in all of our years of travel to many countries.
Our driver, Kiriakos is a gentleman in every describable way. Our group was tremendously impressed by his driving skills (even though we were in a bus, it truly felt as if were in a luxury vehicle.) His willingness to take care of us, drive us to the closest drop off location, wait for us, always courteous and kind and yet professional and excellent at his job. Kiriakos was truly, the best driver that we have had in all of our years of travel to many countries.

We used Private Tours of Greece to arrange all of our tours, transportation and excursions while on our family vacation. As a group of 7 ranging from age 6-70, planning was made easy thanks to the exceptional assistance and communication. From the moment we arrived at the airport in Athens the services provided were high quality, professional and punctual. I would highly recommend this company to anyone travelling and looking to arrange quality tours and transportation. All the drivers and guides we had over our 12 days in Greece were truly exceptional. They were professional, knowledgeable and provided excellent advice and recommendations. Dimitra, Patty and their team provided exceptional communication and advice throughout the planning process and while we were on the ground. All of our drivers were prepared with water, and even had juice on hand for my father who is diabetic, just in case. I would use this company in a heartbeat the next time I travel in Greece and would recommend it to anyone I know going to Greece as well.

I must say that my family and I were very pleased with the services provided by everyone at Private Tours Greece. Miss Fotini was amazing at arranging all the details of my family trip. She was quick to respond to all my emails and she also took the time to respond to all the questions that I had prior to the selection of my final private tour. We booked a 12 day trip which included: Athens, Ancient Corinth, Kalavrita, Epidaurus, Olympia, Delphi, Nafplion, Macedonia, Arachovia, Meteora, Vergina, Viera, Thessaloniki, and Santorini. I must say that we were also very pleased with our driver (our wonderful Mr. Giannis). He was above excellent!!. He was funny, patient, friendly and very knowledgeable. We had a great time with Mr. Giannis the entire time we were on the road with him (about 7 days). He was an excellent driver as well. We also met drivers: George and Spyros who were also very friendly and punctual. In addition, we were very thankful to the agency that we were given the option to hire tour guides at each site. Tour guides is a must if you want to learn as much as possible at each archeological site. Greece has a lot of history so it is totally worth it. We were also please with the selection of our hotels and the secure method of payment for our trip. I highly recommend this agency without any hesitation. They are reliable, punctual, friendly, professional, and extremely helpful.
We also visited Santorini for 2 days and unfortunately our volcano tour in the island was cancelled the day before due to bad weather condition. I quickly called Miss Fotini from Santorini to let her know of our current situation. She immediately made arrangements for an alternative ground excursion in Satorini which was amazing as well. We were so thankful that she was able to make those arrangements for us at the last minute.
I hope to use Private Tours Greece services again hopefully in 2021 to go to Crete and Turkey. I would not hesitate at all in recommending their services to all my friends and of using their services again.

For the price we’re paying, I don’t think we were given what it’s worth. The only 4 star hotel that felt acceptable as a 4 star hotel was in Santorini whilst all the other hotels falls far short of a 4 star hotel, like literally it was a 2/3 star max hotels. Rooms were small dirty and noisy, they were also all really old hotels! I feel they could have definitely put us up to stay at nicer 4 star hotels or even 5 star hotels that cost only an extra 30 euro a night! They are really trying to earn every penny from ripping us off!
Essentially what we paid for in this tour, is a driver to take us from airport to hotel (mostly). There was no guide explaining what each sightseeing place was and we were left to wonder on our own figuring out what each location was. Better just book an Uber, would have cost so much less! I don’t think paying for a driver, booking hotels (that were not even worth 4 star) and booking domestic air tickets is worth over 7300 euro for 2pax.
The Turkey part of the tour felt like another rip off as well, we were overcharged at least 60 euro per person for a hot air balloon ride on low season, when confronted they simply said ‘that’s what the Turkey agent charged us and there’s always extra charge if booked through agent’ but I mean 60 euro extra per person is insane don’t you think? And that’s just for the hot air balloon ride, what about the others? If I was to add a positive feedback would only be for our driver Spiroz who drove us from Athens to Parga, he was really kind and patient, 5 stars for him! Unfortunately that’s the only positive comment. I won’t be able to recommend this tour to friends or family. You would be better off finding another tour who won’t rip you off!

Regarding your accommodation, the hotels we booked for you are all 4-star with high rates on booking.com establishments, as listed below:
Amalia Hotel in Athens
Asha Hotel with caldera view in Santorini
Castelo City with Deluxe room sea view in Crete
Daluze Hotel in Preveza
Harmony Hotel in Mykonos
Prior to your trip, you were provided with information about these hotels, and there were no indications that you were dissatisfied with them.
You requested the exclusion of private tours from the itinerary in each location, but then demanded a private tour of Knossos in Crete without additional charge.
Additionally, we noted that you initially uploaded a 5-star review before your visit to Crete, but later changed it to 1 star, citing reasons related to not wanting to pay for local services.
We understand your concerns, but it's important to clarify that our tour package includes certain services and accommodations based on the agreed-upon terms.
You have to understand that any tour operator arranging holidays spanning 14 days across mainland Greece, the Greek Islands (Crete, Mykonos, and Santorini), and Turkey incurs costs in organizing and facilitating your trip.
Additionally, we refunded €60 to address the misunderstanding regarding the local services, which arose from frequent communication on your part
Furthermore, it's important to note that a driver's role is primarily transportation and cannot offer in-depth archaeological information.
We understand your preference to keep costs down by not booking a licensed tour guide, but it's essential to recognize the distinction between using an Uber service and hiring a private chauffeur for a guided tour experience
While it's possible to organize such a trip independently, you sought our assistance and expertise to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience as we worked for your last minutes changes

Hi there,
We finish a tour of Greece after breakfast on the 28th May 2019 and we fly back to Australia on 31 May 2019 at 2:50pm. So we would like to have organised an all inclusive tour from Athens to Santorini and possibly Mykonos with accommodation to ensure we arrive in time for our international flight home May 31st at 2:50pm.
We do not need 5 star accommodation, in fact happy to home stay if the experience including wine, pasta or olive oil making.

We are attending a family wedding in Santorini bet. Aug 27-30. As I see it we would like to make the best of Greece for 10 + nights as under:

Sept 1 - Santorini - Athens by air
Sept 1 - ? Athens, Classical Greece tours, train to Meteora etc, on to Crete, back to Athens for flight back.

Could you please tell me a little more of the tour company like are they punctual, reliable and the knowledge of their drivers with regards to sights to see and knowledge of the place itself? Is there a driver you would recommend to request for our trip?

So sorry. I didn't see this question till just now. You probably have already made your decisions. The company is very reliable and punctual. Unfortunately, since we did the mainland trip, I don't have any drivers to recommend on the islands. But, I am sure that the other drivers are as knowledgeable as ours was.
We did opt to hire a tour guide for our entire visit, though, also. One of the best investments we ever made - he was amazing!! He made the history come alive.

I am interested in doing the 2 day Delphi and Meteora Tour with Private Tours on private basis. The quote they provided me is just with driver and no guide. Do you feel it is necessary to hire a guide to see the sights and monastery? Or do you think we can pretty much see everything ourselves without the assistance of a guide? Thanks!
