About Aristotle, Greek Tourist Guide
As an Archaeologist and Tourist Guide, I try to infect people with my enthusiasm for all things old. History is my passion, as well as my job. I can feel it all around us and I like nothing better than to make people see the past as vividly as I can.

Recently went on a tour of the Cycladic Islands with Aristotle. He had a diverse group with quite a few dietary issues. He managed to juggle all of the different needs of the group with grace and humor, and in addition gave an excellent tour of the islands to boot. His in depth knowledge of Greece’s architecture and culture made this trip really special.

Aristotle took us on a wonderful, brilliant half-day walking tour of Athens - including, of course, the Acropolis, and customized to our other interests. He masterfully and enjoyably brings together archaeology, ancient history, architecture, geography, contemporary politics - how they intersect and influence each other - just a great discussion throughout our tour. We wish we had more time with Aristotle!

Aristotle arranged two days in Athens for a trip of a lifetime. His depth of knowledge spanning the range of history, including present-day politics, is very impressive. You'll gain an understanding of what you're seeing and the context of the time to get an unforgettable appreciation of Athens. He spent the time upfront with us to understand what we wanted from our trip, and arranged two days that fit our pace. It didn't hurt that he could also bring us straight to the best spots for lunch as well, and suggestions on where to go shopping in the evening.

For the past ten years, I have taken high school students to Greece for educational tours led by Aristotelis Koskinas. He is an amazing teacher. He brings history and culture to life for the students through stories, demonstrations, and theater. His tours are engaging, funny, and thought provoking. Aristotelis is also a very kind person who is sensitive to the needs of the group. I can’t imagine a better guide.

My wife is a professional UK guide so our standards are high. Aristotle's combination of archeological knowledge and dramatic enthusiasm makes him an ideal and versatile guide. He tailored everything we saw to our interests and was really good company too. E is the ideal guide to bring classical Greece to life again. Highly recommended.
