I found this place on tripadvisor and was impressed by the reviews. So I thought I'd give it a try, especially since we were traveling with teens who would welcome the distraction from all the ancient sites and museums. It turns out to be one of the best memories my teens have from our Greece trip. The place was hard to find, luckily our taxi driver found it right away, but I know some other people in our party weren't that lucky and had to walk around a bit to find it. But I guess it added to the charm of the whole experience. My kids wanted to go again the very next day :-)

We were 1 minute late in solving the room. This was a uniqe and different experience. If you like riddles, thinking and a lot of action you must visit this place.
We were only two persons solving a room for 4-5 so the staff gave us some hints to help with the investigation.
The price was really fair, a bit to cheap in my opinion.

My family of 5 experienced Athens Clue today and it was an absolutely thrilling time. We walked into the room thinking "we got this" and left laughing so hard cause we did not have this even with all our game masters help on the T.V. we failed but was oh so close. The game was well thought out and the staff is super friendly. It was a nice break from sight seeing to just have some fun. We would come back and do all the rooms if we had time. Great time and not a bad price. Good job Athens Clue!!! The Baird family (Oklahoma)

We took a group of 19 and booked three rooms. Many did love it but a small number felt it didn't live up to its billing as No 1 in Athens. Yes it is different and did fill in an hour. Some of the activities are simply far fetched and the constant prompting required by staff (otherwise progress simply wouldn't have happened) meant it lost some authenticity. Maybe we expected too much from the Trip Advisor reviews.
Also, as out group had extras and a fourth room was not available at the time we were allowed 7 in one room. We were then charge for all 7. €91 euros for one room for one hour on student budgets in my opinion is simply excessive. If we were to return to Athens some would certainly return.

Dear Guest, Thank you for writing your comments after your recent visit at Athens Clue. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. Hopefully we will be given the opportunity to welcome you back and be given a chance to earn back your trust. Based on the feedback that you and your teams provided us after the game, you seemed to enjoy the game. Regarding our prices,if you compare us to an equivalent game in London ( 22€ p.p+v.a.t) and other metropolitan locations ,our Theme Rooms are by far the most affordable. Nevertheless, we value your comments and constantly monitor our prices against other activities and will continue doing so. Warm regards

We were 3 players to book Taken. The welcoming staff was super friendly and fun, even though we arrived 20 minutes late! They were really accommodating and contributed even more to the fun experience. We managed to escape Taken 2.5 min before time ends. Even though the game tension gets high on different occasions, our team managed to hold on, observe, analyze and solve clues, but most importantly laughed so much at random little things and kept discussing and joking about our experience all the way back to the hotel. Definitely going back to try John Monroe next time in Athens!
Thank you Athens Clue for adding fun to our Athens trip.

I've been playing escape the room in every city we go that has one, and on Athens Clue we played the lost statues of Knossos room and it was by far the least fun room I ever faced. It is still ok cause the basic game spirit is there, but most puzzles seem arbitrary, disconected and there was a lot of pure trial and error. It feels like all they have ar boxes and locks and even with the tips I could not find the logic behind it. I've beat the room but still felt very frustrated with the experience. I would recommend trying escape the room games somewhere.

We went with some good friends on Friday night and 'did' the temple of Knossos room, managing to get out with 1 minute to go! It was a unique experience, certainly strained the brain and had us working as a team (well, except when my husband spoke to our friends the way he speaks to our 2 yr old when she isn't listening). Great location, make a night of it and go for dinner afterwards (though, don't waste your time at the Hilton, we went there for a victory dinner and it was simply awful - rubbish service, overpriced, not worth it)

This was so much fun! We would have spent a whole day here if we could. My advise: book more than one room when you go. We took the taken-room on one day and then took the prison break-room the next. Would definitely tried them all if we had more time!

Amazing puzzling game. You're locked into a room and you have to escape with solving a murder by tackling puzzles and hunting around the room for clues. A great way to spend an hour with your friends!!! Can you escape!?!?!?

We visited an escape game since almost everyone recommended us to do so. We chose Athens Clue as the most recommended and played CSI (group of 4). The room was very bright and clean. It has several surprises and combines almost all kinds of riddles so it's is a little demanding as the staff had already informed us. The flow of the game allows you to think and make your own assumptions and get into the head of a very sneaky investigator in order to solve the riddle. In the meantime the game master intervenes by directing you towards the solution but letting you enjoy the proccess. Unfortunately, we didn't escape although we were very close to the solution! Our next goal is John Monroe's office! (investigators - addicted !!)
