My wife and I spent two days touring the Peloponnese and Delphi with Jimmy, a driver from Hellenic Private Tours. We had a great time and couldn't have been more pleased. Jimmy is a Greek citizen who was raised in Australia and has spent most of his adult life in Greece. He speaks perfect English and is very knowledgeable about the historic sites we visited. He also gave us excellent tips about local restaurants and hotels. And along the way he shared personal anecdotes and insights into contemporary Greek culture. He was very flexible and accommodating to our needs, and his driving was flawless.
Hellenic's rates were competitive. They were better than another company that had been recommended to us, and they helped us design an itinerary that made the most of our limited time.
Anyone thinking of a custom driving tour of Greece should contact Hellenic Private Tours and ask for Jimmy.

I had the most amazing tour with HP Tours. My godmother arranged for a driver to pick us from our hotel and drive us from Athens to Thermopylae, Meteora, Kastoria, our family's villages and back down to Zakynthos before heading back to Athens. We had great conversations with Jimmy our drive, he was incredibly knowledgably. As we got to know each other over the days of our trip he was able to recommend some different activities from our original plans that we would enjoy more.
I highly recommend using this touring company and request Jimmy!

Highly recommend H.P. Tours. I emailed them in November, Frank and his team replied quickly to give us a plan based on our schedule. They answered my questions promptly and patiently, made flexible changes based on our request, gave the price clearly without any hidden price, showed their profession during the communication.
Jimmy was our driver for three tours. He is the best on top of the best, he is very informative and thoughtful. Picked up the best places to let us see and took photos. All restaurants he recommended were in good locations, great local Greek food at very reasonable prices. We had a very comfortable and happy time with Jimmy.
The certified guides they recommended were great as well. They made us have a fantastic time in Greece.

It was a perfect experience for the two of us, from building the islands and extensive mainland itinerary with Vasilis, to their execution of the plan. We were met at the jetway exiting the plane and ushered through security coming and going on all flights. The Greek phone issued added a level of comfort and cost saving. Having the same driver, Jimmy, all over the mainland was simply amazing. The guides everywhere were fun and most informative. We even met Vasilis' family along the way. You won't find a better or more personalized experience in Greece.

I have to give Hellenic Private tours a sterling rating. My wife and had always wanted to see Greece and finally had the opportunity. We wanted to see Athens and visit Greek Islands. We got overwhelmed with all of the choices and figuring out how to do the travel in multiple places. I contacted HP tours and they immediately impressed me. George spent a long time on the phone with me getting an idea of what we wanted and sent me an itinerary a week later that really hit everything we wanted. He gave us hotel and activity choices and we finalized the itinerary. We were met at the airport by the entire team and they gave us a cell phone to use and reviewed the plan. Throughout the two weeks we were in Greece, they contacted us regularly. I could tell that they were reaching out to our drivers, guides and hotels before we arrived and never had to worry about any connection. They anticipated everything and really made this trip a once in a lifetime event. I highly recommend them to everyone!

We would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Athens beyond the superficial tourist route. Professionalism, passion, and love for the city are the words that best describe our experience with Alex! I wholeheartedly recommend our Driver / Guide, Jimmy, from Hellenic Private tours. He is friendly, very knowledgable and as a bonus - a native English speaker. He made everything very easy, with the perfect mix of guidance and flexibility. Our 2 1/2 days with him exceeded all expectations.
We worked with HP Tours in advance to create a plan that fit with our schedule and what we wanted to do. We visited Nafplio, Mycenae, Epidaurus, Delphi and Hosios Loukas with scenic drives and a stop at the Corinth canal along the way. [btw, their pricing was better than another company we talked to.]
If you want a driver/guide in Greece ask for Jimmy. He is fabulous.

Hellenic tours is always reliable and the drivers are very knowledgeable and pleasant. We have used them multiple times for both half day and multiple day excursions. Cars are extremely pleasant and comfortable. Cannot recommend them more highly!

I am interested in a two day tour for two adults, day 1 of Athens. Day 2 we are considering Delphi, but would consider other suggestions. One of us is a scientist (interested in ancient ruins) and the other is interested in theater and art (as well as ancient ruins).
