Our driver picked us up from the hotel on time and drove down the coast road by the scenic Athens Riviera. The Temple of Poseidon is a beautiful spot, away from the bustle of Athens. Very serene and impressive. Gorgeous views from all over the promontory. The driver took us to a restaurant in the town of Lavrio that turned out to be the best meal of our three weeks in the Mediterranean. Fresh anchovies and sardines caught that day were just what my husband and I had been looking for. A great experience!

Stavros was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and helpful. He kept us informed of what we were about to see, the history of Greece, and anything else he felt was important for us to know about Greece. We were picked up on-time at our hotel in a very clean and comfortable van. We could not have asked for a better guide who make this full-day excursion incredibly enjoyable and informative. Corinth Canal is a brief stop and well worth it to see this engineering marvel. Epidaurus has extensive ruins to see and a great coliseum. Nafplion is a charming town in which to have lunch and sightsee for a couple of hours. Mycenae is very special and well worth seeing considering its age, its location, and adjoining museum.

The coach left at ,06,45 am through the Athens-Patras Highway , first stop was at Kiato for morning breakfast , after we continued our trip to the town of KATO DIAKOPTO , where we boarded a special train for a trip up to KALAVRYTA .
That train has narrow rails and an extra third one , train at a certain point will connect a gear to the third line so it could get up the steep hill to KALAVRYTA .
We had a tremendous experience within this trip , the train drove into the VOURRAIKOU Canyon ,farther was the river full of water , in between the rocks water falls were falling down the river , the Nature with all kind off trees and some caves in the rocks .
Arrived at Kalavrita we went walking around the city had lunch , made a few shopping of local products , and the most importantant did not MISS the MUSEUM OF "" THE HOLOCAFTOM "" when during World War II , the German NAZIZ ,took every male over 12 years old , assembled them in the City Square and fired by automatic guns , children - women and old ones were locked from outside in the school hal then they set fire
A young soldier could not stand any more the screaming of pain that was heard ,without being seen he run to a back door and opened , so a few where the ones that lived .
After we left the city of kalavryta for the very interesting cave "" the MEGA SPILIO "" inside in the Miraculous "" ICON of OUR VIRGIN MARY mother of JESUS CHRIST "" . Back on road towards home with one stop-over for tea break and direct to Athens .

We had Stavros as our guide and driver. We couldn't have asked for any better. He waited patiently for us to board, and as soon as we were off he began to tell us about the City of Athens. He spoke with enthusiasm and pride and it was infectious as all four of us asked questions, discussed history and literature and it was great fun.
I felt a little unwell initially and Mr. Stavros very kindly adjusted the route to accommodate an unscheduled stop.
He drove very well so we felt extremely comfortable and he made sure he stopped at vantage points so we got some amazing photos. His knowledge of Delphi was detailed and he took the trouble to stop and show us some wonderful sites of immense historical importance.
He was untiring and obviously used to not eating for long periods as he seemed surprised at our constant queries regarding lunch. When we finally stopped at Arachova, he was very wary at our choice of eatery as he was not familiar with it. We were touched by his concern and reassured him that the place "fterolakka" was an excellent restaurant.
He kept our flagging interest engaged even on the return journey. Something which definitely required some effort as by this time we were exhausted.
What impressed my daughters and me even more was the fact that when we reached the hotel and were saying thank you Mr. Stavros handed us a couple of packets contained Evil Eye bracelets for us. That made our day. It was the very first Grecian Gift and very unexpected.
I would recommend Mr. Stavros to anyone traveling to Greece. He is a knowledgeable, well spoken and very thoughtful person, and his only aim is to ensure the enjoyment and safety of his travelers.
Thank you, Mr. Stavros.

We used Athens Family Limo Private Day Tours in April.
Our driver John was very helpful and knew a lot of historical facts. He picked us up from the cruise dock and we did the Acropolis and downtown tour, which took us all around the most important sightseeing places in Athens. His van was very spacious and fit all 6 of us easily. Great service and nice price !

The driver was prompt, funny, full of personality, and had extensive knowledge of ancient Greek history. He drove a Mercedes Benz (excellent car) and kept us entertained the entire trip. Cold water was always available (and grateful for that) and a small complementary gift was given at the end of the tour.
However, Saint Paul was mentioned no more than three times, and never did we follow any of his footsteps. The tours of Corinth were fabulous, but we wanted and paid for ($400+) a tour of Saint Paul's journies in Athens and Corinth and received neither.
NOTE: tourism just reopened and we fully expected tour guides and drivers to be a little rusty, and we've given some leeway for this and tipped the driver generously. These folks have been out of work for over a year and our intent is not to crucify any of them. Bottom line: Give the tour that is advertised.

Hello, your review is for some other business, not ours. We never had you as our customer. The date that you mention (june 2021) and the price (400$) are not compatible with our product details. So, we kindly ask you to remove it. Best regards,

Highly recommended tour, great guide, great talk. Really detailed tour, with all the information you need, but not at all boring since the guide is really funny and discrete.

We had a fantastic time walking around Athens with Danae. She was so sweet and passionate about the history of the neighborhoods. I gained a much better understanding of Athens history and the efforts to redevelop older houses, as well as the communities who built them. My aunt and I also love gardening and cooking and when we asked about the sour orange trees that grow along the streets she even surprised us with a jar of marmalade! Absolutely a highlight of our trip.

The city of Athens has a program that has "this is my Athens" and Tripadvisor. Also, volunteer local people in Athens provide walking tours. We went through "This is my Athens". This was a wonderful way to start off our trip. The Volunteer Dania was amazing she showed us Athens as a local would see it. We walked for two hours through streets and markets. The best. It was free and let us see Athens through the eyes of a person who has lived in the area her whole life. Highly recommend. Just google, " this is my Athens
