Very walkable place with lots of souvenirs to see & buy. Easily accessible by the metro as well! Tip: don't rush into buying things, chances are stores further down the street carry the same stuffs at cheaper prices

Unfortunately we didn't spend enough to explore the whole area. The vibe is amazing, great view of the parthenon at night especially when the whole area is lit up. Huge range of spots offering Souvlaki. The Flea market, and general stalls reachable by foot, along...More

A contrast to the more busy and dirty parts of Athens. Great cafes and interaction with beautiful little antiques. A definite must do in Athens. Wish we found it before our last day as night time would be amazing there! Can definitely suggest!

A very crowded square one must visit when in Athens. From here, you can go into the flea market or walk to the Plaka district. It is very beautiful and a must-visit when in Athens.

A great market place to visit during the day. The area has many nice shops you can find everything here with good prices. Would not recommend visiting at night. Most stores close really and I wasn't as comfortable here as in Plaka district.

where the ancients also came to shop. Named after the
tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki
Square is a lively spot by day or night, with street
