About Athens Bike Ride
Our three hour guided Athens Bike Tour takes you through a broad swath of old Athens, 90% traffic free or lite traffic. See exciting sites that most tourists do not know about or neglect to visit, such as Socrates Prison and the Pynx where democracy was born, as well as heralded sites, such as the 1896 Olympic Stadium and St. Paul’s Rock. The riding is casual, mostly flat and easy for a reasonably fit person.

an excellent and reliable company, altho' they dont currently have much of a tripadvisor presence. They have 3 rides to choose from - around athens city, to the coast, and a mountain climb which I chose - the ride up mt Imitos (11km climb at 7% average) Colleen and yiannis have cycled in/across many countries and do supported multi-day rides on the greek islands as well ... 100euro included hotel pick up , quality road bike, helmet, water bottles, choice of pedals. It was a fun ride up with great views, an an amazing 9th century monastry to visit en route..3 hours round trip pick up from hotel... highly recommend jeremy

We were in Athens for one day, as part of a cruise, and we love to cycle, so I did some careful research and decided this bike tour was perfect for us, we have two boys aged 10 and 15. Colleen made contact with me immediately, and gave lots of helpful information, to prepare us -we had to give our heights etc. We were collected in Piraeus, and taken to the Plaka area, given very good bikes, and water, helmets etc, then we followed the lovely Colleen as she led us through the city, it was very safe, I would say 95% traffic free, (we crossed one road). We cycled to see the Acropolis, a wonderful park, seeing the Prison of Socrates, and The Pynx where democracy was born, among many many things. We finished with a wonderful lunch, and a glass of wine. All in all, this was our favourite day of our cruise, and we would love to return and do it all again someday! They offer many other tours that sound interesting too! Thank you Yannis and Colleen!
