This was the most amazing road trip orchestrated by Athens Tours Greece navigated by the most amazing driver Giorgio Kandylis, who was a veritable fountain of information and trip advising. From Athens to Delphi and Meteora to Macedonia, from Thessaloniki to Philipi and Kavala to Sparta and back, he helped us trace the pathway of St Paul... with a few extra side trips as requested. George was flexible and inquisitive to better help us get the most out of our time. Yes, our trip was taken in preCovid days, but was a trip for one couple. ATG also did the same for us in fashioning and constructing our other trips to Corinth via Epidaurus and points on the Peloponnesus Peninsula; but then got us private drivers for Ephesus in Turkey ( once Greek area). Spectacular... I want to go again with George! Thanks …

We used Athens Tours Greece for a private sunset tour (4 hours) to the Poseidon Temple on Cape Sounion. Our driver & guide, George, was fantastic! He picked us up at the Airbnb we were staying at in a Mercedes minivan ... very comfortable for the three of us! Since we had already been in Athens for a few days, we didn't need a lot of "guiding" but he pointed out a number of interesting sites that we had not seen as we left town. He was great: just the right mix of information and quiet time (we were all exhausted and needed a nap!). The arrangements with Athens Tours Greece COULD NOT have been easier. Emails were answered VERY fast, even in the early evening when I was not expected a reply until morning. We made a number of changes to our plans over the course of a couple of days, and that was never a problem. And their prices were VERY competitive ... a private tour for the same price as a group bus tour! Most important: Sunset at Cape Sounion doesn't tend to make it into the guide books, but this should be a DON'T MISS for your trip to Athens. It truly will be the most amazing sunset you will ever see! And while the sun is setting, don't forget to turn around and look at the Poseidon temple behind you ... the ruins change colors with the setting sun. Absolutely amazing.…

This was a very fun and informative day! Our tour guide picked us up at the Athens port, and we were off. We saw the major sites in Athens (Acropolis, Mars Hill, Parthenon, Diana’s temple, etc) with plenty of time to wander through each. Then we were off to Corinth - we saw the Corinth Canal and our driver told us the history of the canal. After that we hit ancient Corinth. First stop was Aquila and Pricilla’s homesite which is now home to a church, and then the the ancient city. They have a lot of ruins, and a really nice museum. After that we checked out the castle on the hill overlooking Corinth. It was a good, full day and well worth the price…
