Took my GF for her birthday to there. spent over 2 hours there, did “Ali Mama” Hammam plus 60 min dry room massage. I promise you, you won't regret.

We were upstairs in the dry massage room. The room was empty after the massage. No other customers were there. My friend got her stuff from the locker, put them into the table, on the opposite of the shower, and in a five minutes time frame, the phone was gone.... The room was called a "VIP Room" ! It's was... More

It was our first time and I came out thinking it was more than just a Turkish hammam. It was a total lush experience from head to toe and body and mind. We walked out as if we were walking on clouds. A must.

We booked a synchronal massage for two for € 60.- each and found the hammam very easy, cause its located close to Ermou Blvd. We were greeted very nicely and everything was explained in a very professional manner. The massage was very relaxing and took care of our "problem zones" - after the session we were able to take a... More

So the actual spa experience was decent. We didn't have an appointment but they were able to accommodate the basic bath experience. What irked me was one of the younger female workers who for some reason responded to questions from my husband and ignored me completely. Didn't even look me in the eye when she spoke to me. Also, they... More

My husband and i had the most amazing experience! You should definitely try it! Just bring your bathing suit with you ( it s the only thing you gonna need- everything else is provided) and have a wonderful time. We had a traditional and an Ali- Mama hammam. They were both great!

My partner and I spotted this in the things to do and I bugged and bugged to give it a try! Eventually my partner caved in and it was definitely the best decision made. My partner doesn't like being touched very much but even he enjoyed it, we had the Ali Mama treatment which covered the steam room/bath and a... More

This place is on the top of the hammam spas, i have been in many ... even the once in turkey wasn't even close to the level of expertise this place had. The spot is small... dosn't have much space but thats not a down side of it ... it's focused and relax. The staff there is friendly and well... More

It was a real treat to experience such pampering, attention and relaxation. I did the Ali mama with my husband and we both agreed hands down that it was the highlight of our trip to Athens. Thank you to Konstas and the lady at the reception for being so friendly, caring and professional. Even when there was a mix up... More

Loved this place. Was very hard to find on foot but they fit us in luckily in the afternoon. All the staff were very helpful and hammam itself was heavenly so relaxing even the tea and delights after were scrumptious. If I ever get back to athens I will definitely be coming back here!

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
