Walking around Athens and suffering with a bad back, I was very tight and achy. So, I had a look around for a Massage, the closes to where I was staying was Hammam Shahrazad. Luckily, I managed to secure an appointment which included a Hammam & a 60 minute massage… Firstly I was to start by saying that the facilities within the venue were immaculate. Upon entering the Hammam the steam was infused with essential oils (a really lovely touch), smelt like lemon grass which was lovely and invigorating. My Therapist was called Azma, she was so professional and her techniques and pressure were absolute perfection! I have had many Hammams and massages all over the world and this massage was by far one of the very best I have every had. I felt so much better in myself after leaving and felt “light” no aches or pains like I had prior to going in. When I visit Athens again, I will definitely visit and I will 100% recommend Azma and the Hammam Shahrazad. Thank you to the team there for looking after me and giving me a wonderful, professional experience.

Aesthetically the place is beautiful. It’s very clean. Staff are kind and friendly. The Hammam and massage package is what my friend and I did and it was AMAZING. We like to try different hammams in the different countries and by far this has been the best. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Athens!

Brilliant Hammam and the foam massage was much more than I’d expected. Really good experience. Would love to Go again. Have had Hammams in other countries and didn’t expect this to be great but was really pleased. I had to Ritual Hammam to at was around 65E

From beginning to end, my partner and I had a great experience. We purchased the Amira package. It included relaxing in the humid heat (felt amazing), to then be exfoliated, washed, rubbed, clayed, sudsed, and rinsed by (Mary and Yannis, I believe were their names), who were very kind and hard working. We thought we were done, but we were then lead to another room for massage and facial clay mask. The whole experience was luxurious! Definitely recommend!

As a solo female traveller I felt safe, comfortable and totally catered to! Merih was my therapist and I was outstanded by her service. I had the amira package and would totally recommend it if you want to feel like a new person! Feel cleaner, clearer and skin feels soft and nourished...what more could a girl wish for!

Had the best hammam experience I’ve ever had at Hammam Shahrazad today. I went for the most basic service Hammam Ritual, which included about 10-15 minutes in the steam room, then 10-15 minutes alone in the Hammam, then the ritual experience which included exfoliation, olive oil soap suds and an all over massage and rinse with refreshing cold massage. Paper undies and some cosmetics to use after (cleansers, lotions and deodorants) all provided, free of charge, as well as bottles of water and cinnamon tea ❤️

It's my second time in Hammam Shahrazad and it was just amazing.. Staff are very friendly and professional.. I had a Hammam Cleopatra with all Ritual Hammam.. Peeling, foam massage and washing hair.. Next part it was massage with oil and face mask with face massage. Everyone speaks English. Thanks for your care and wonderful relaxation 😊

I have had hammams many times all around the world and this one ranks as a fairly good one. We booked for 3 for the Shahrazad same day walk in. I assumed the 2 ladies were going together but all 3 of us ended up on the marble slab. Never had this happen before and it was slightly uncomfortable given how little we were all wearing. You can't just assume everyone is comfortable with that type of setting. During the bath, the 2 ladies requested nothing touch the face as we have eyelash extensions. The ladies acknowledged it and then went on with soap and water all over our faces. I ended up asking for a towel to keep my eyes dry. You need to warn people about the last (very cold) dunk of water over the head. We heard the guy attendant mention to the guy in our party, but the 2 ladies were never told. It's not a pleasant surprise. We had a couple requests during the massage (i.e. using less oil), which were met with some exasperation. You have to be able to flex for requests and accommodations. The experience ended with a lovely cup of tea and dates. The woman at the front desk is incredibly nice and pleasant.

From the moment I walked in. My experience was perfect. The staff are very friendly and took great care of me. The experience is very well priced and I had the best time. It is very relaxing and I would love to visit again. Definitely an experience that you won’t get anywhere else!
