On a trip with unexpected twists, turns and itinerary changes, we found ourselves in Athens for a lot longer between the time our cruise ended and our flight left for our next destination. We were fortunate to book a tour through Ellite Tours/Discover Athens for half a day followed by a ride to the airport. Spiros was very easy to work with in getting me the details in advance, and booking was simple. Our driver, John, was waiting as we exited the cruise terminal, and he gave us a really great and diverse Athens experience over the next 5 hours. Plus, he was a pretty awesome driver, getting in, out and around the oftentimes very narrow streets of the city. He showed us the ancient, the modern and things in between. We felt like the price was extremely reasonable, especially compared to the cost of just getting a comfortable ride from the cruise port to the airport. We highly recommend this company.

One of my biggest concerns on our trip was how we would see all the Athens historical sites in just one day (cruise itinerary). Spiro ( owner, driver and really knowledgable guide, although we weren’t charged for that), was able to set our schedule in reverse of the tour buses which allowed us to visit sites without crowds. We even visited sites that were not on my itinerary. We saw: Acroppolis, Kalimarmaro Stadium, changing if the guards, plasma, Temple of Zeus, Greek and Roman Agora, Propylaea, Parthenon, Erectheion, Temple of Athena& Lycabettus Hill and were back at the ship ahead of time!
My son has used Spiro and my daughter will use him next year on her visit. You can tell a lot about people by how other locals treat them and Spiro is genuinely respected by everyone who sees him. Oh and he is very reasonably priced compared to what the cruise ship charge for private tours!

We went to see all the amazing cultural sites with Takis and he was the best! Highly recommend! We spent almost a week with him and he planned the most amazing trip and had all our hotels picked out. He also was great at giving us information and then giving us space for as long as we needed. We went in summer so it was super hot, and my wife was 5 months pregnant at the time, so when we needed to make on the fly changes, he made them expertly and with no fuss. We loved our experience and are recommending my uncle and his wife to use them too!

My wife qnd I booked a 6 days private tour with Spiros. It was our second time with Spiros. The first time was 16 years ago for a one day trip. He made such a good impression I contacted him again. This trip went off without a hitch and was an excellent experience. Our next trip back to Greece we will use him again. Here are the details:
I contacted him six mouths before the trip. He is very quick with his responses basically he responded immediately adjusted for timezones. Spiros took our desires and his knowledge and create a great trip for us. His plans included the itinerary, the hotels, airport transfers, and local tour guides were appropriate. In this way, he was our travel agent. He knows Greece very well. His plan was excellent.
During the trip all went well. His car is very comfortable. He is the same nice guy we remembered and easy to be around. The local guides for key sites he arranges are excellent. The hotels selected are very nice. He also makes sure you have excellent dinning experience and reserves the best tables. My wife loves to take photos and he made sure she got to all the best opportunities. Any problems encountered he quickly found solutions. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy.
In summary, all I can say is contacting Spiros to travel with in our deep dive of Greece was an excellent decision. It made that part of our trip very special. Of course, our next trip to Greece will start with contacting Spiros.

We had the pleasure of spending two days with our guide Spiros. His communication during the planning stage was second to none. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. To ensure we saw everything on the two tours: Delpi and Peloponnese, he recommended the approximate time for each site...he was right on...perfect timing to see everything at each stop.
We also arranged four transfers through Elite Tours....each driver was courteous, professional and on-time.
I would highly recommend spending some time with Spiros.

I have used Spiros taxi tour services for over 6 years. I refer him to friends and family. Was back in greece end of Sept and Spiro took us to Nafplion. What a wonderful day. His car was comfortable, and he took us on a scenic route where we enjoyed all the key sites along the way. Stopped bought us water, and after the venetian castle took us to an amazing restaurant to eat fresh seafood and fish.
His team picked us up from our Celebrity cruise at Pireaus and then had another person take us to airport.
He is professional, calm, amazing and safe driver and beyond knowledgable. He is accomodating with what you want to see on any tour and makes amazing suggestions and add ons.
He is very busy but try and make sure you book him ahead of your trip, worth the effort.
Will use him always for any travels within Greece. He even helped me last year to get to Killini with my family, we were 5 with many luggages. He is truly a lifesaver.

Apostolos picked us up at our hotel and we were off on an amazing discovery day of Athens. We began at the Acropolis and then onto the Acropolis Museum. What a special treasure! Apostolos gave us the option to go to the highest point and we did, Lycabettus Hill provided amazing views of all of Athens. From there we went to Olympic stadium. We chose to include Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon. On our way we made a stop at an amazing lake, Vouliagmeni was so beautiful. Driving to Sounion we drove alone the Ionian and the Aegean. Turquoise and Deep Blue waters bring peace to your soul. We stopped for lunch at a beautiful seaside restaurant for a traditional Greek lunch. Then we drove onto Sounion for an amazing treat. Beautiful and peaceful.
Apostolos let us decide how long or short in any one place. He provided stories and history about Greece and Athens in particular. Mixing mythology with history was wonderful!

We went to Delphi and Meteora with Spiros who was simply amazing. He knew the best places to eat, stay and visit. We saw all the key archeological sites in the area and he prepped us for each of them with a historical overview of what we would be seeing. When the lines were too long at one place in Meteora, Spiros was flexible and we altered our plans. He was very patient answering all our questions. I highly recommend hiring Elite Tours for your visit to Greece.

Our experience with Spiros was excellent. We arranged a private tour to Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Corinth. We enjoyed that tour so much, we arranged another day to visit Pireaus and the Temple of Zeus. Spiros is very knowledgeable about Greek history and current events. My brother has a disability and Spiros went above and beyond to ensure that my brother was comfortable.

In September 2024 my husband and I took two Elite Tours, one day with Spiros to Meteora and one day with Christos driving the beautiful Greek coastline to Sounion to the Temple of Poseidon. Both days with these gentlemen were fabulous! They know their history, they know their roads/highways, they know where to park in congested tourist areas, they know the best rest areas and restaurants. Highly recommended, you will be happy and make many wonderful memories!

I am interested in a driver to take me from athens to Nestani and bring me back to athens. Perhaps stopping a place of interest on the way nafplio or something else

Llegamos a Port Pireus Fecha 14/09/2018, 7.00am y desde allí o dejando previo las maletas en hotel céntrico nos interesa, una excursión de visita a la ciudad de Atenas y la acropolis completa, (en idioma español, para 3 adultos).
Y al dia siguiente transfer al aeropuerto a las 6.00 pm

Salve in data 10/05/2018 approdiamo in Atene con Costa Crociere vorremmo prenotare un mini Tour con un mini van o Pulmino per sette posti con guida dalla città con i punti più importanti da vedere e visitare con spiegazione accompagnate come servizio autista che parla in lingua italiana e affidabile sia nella guida che per servizio logistico con eventuale sosta per pranza partenza dal Porto di attracco Turistico e Rientro si richiede eventuale preventivo da confermare poi con email e pagare se si trova la formula accordo sul posto.
