The place is a gem but the music they play is tasteless, loud and from a radio station. We asked to lower the volume as relaxing on the beach but we were ignored. If you go enjoy but bring your earplugs and an aspirin !

Lovely setting , close to the city private beach!
Food is ok not very expensive, entrance fee 5 euros Monday to Friday and 7,20 on the weekends
Staff at the Bach / snack bars are polite and respectful.
The ones responsible for the sun beds not so much !
They never help to raise the umbrellas , they let people struggle while they are waiting to cash the money.
Not clean at all!!
Sorry tables and sun beds !!
They charge for a whole set of you require an extra subbed because you are a party of three and on the weekends this can go up to 10-20 euros depending where you are sitting .
The managers are nowhere to be found !
People use the side entrance and walk in without paying sometimes , which is frustrating to see if you have just payed yourself !
Rather disappointing experience!

Great place for only 10€ per person, free sunbeds and umbrellas. Not the cleanest people but everything you need, snacks, showers the sea, an aquapark, etc. It was a great surprise!

Voula beach- actually the Athines Sea beach (not listed on TripAdvisor as per August 2021)
This is a fantastic beach with crystal clear water, shallow and safe even for small children. The beach is privately managed and it’s really lovely. The entry fees are reasonable (we paid €6 pp), especially during weekdays, weekends are double of that. You can pay extra for VIP umbrella and loungers (€10), all brand new and sparkling clean. The surrounding facilities are in great working order and the refreshment areas are very nice too. There’s a bunch of negative reviews on TripAdvisor for Voula beach which may either refer to a small, dilapidated beach next to the Athines Sea or the previous establishment in this place. Overall the Athines sea is most definitely a very relaxing beach to spend a day at the sea! We are beach hopping at the Attica Coast, trying private, wild or part-managed beach and we’ll be back at the Athines Sea without a doubt.

Well, this is from far the worst experience that I had. Staff is rude, wants to make you pay for the air that you’re breathing. We have paid a bed on the beach, I had no ticket to prove something. They came back 1 hour later to me is pay again and asked for the “invoice”... very arrogant and mean. Such a disappointment

Might be better in Summer, otherwise not much to look at. Not much around, not much open, view was ok.

Came in November so unsure if it's the same in summer. Looks like this place has been abandoned. Obviously sea and sun always look nice but not the cleanest of places. Maybe if you just want a swim or sunbathe this might be a good choice as no one is here!!!

There was no sun beds etc, and the bathroom was really disgusting (the brown mush on ground looks and smell like poo).
Beach was not very clean, cigarette butts everywhere. But water was clear and warm. So we spend most of afternoon in the water. Facilities overall poor.

I visited Voula Beach in the midle of October, so it was for free, but at the same time there was no sun beds, no towels, umbralas even no any c-stores. For me and my familly the most important is white sand and cristal water. Both were very good, that’s why 5 stars.
I don’t know how it looks like in the summer, hope more attractions ;).
Of corse you’ll find the free shower on the beach and changing rooms. There is a parking lot in front of the beach and tram station - easy acces.

Is there a private ‘pay’ beach at Voula so we can have parasol and sunbed. Also what is the name of the private beach. We drove through Voula yesterday and I couldn’t see anything obvious which is why I’m asking the question. We would get there by number 5 tram to Voula. Thank you. Also are there any water sports available.

Not if you come in late October like us. Off season, there is no umbrella or sun lounges.
Are showers with clean water available after swimming?

Salve, la spiaggia di Voula è a pagamento? Anche per chi alloggia in un hotel di fronte? Quali sono i prezzi? Ci sono spiagge libere vicino? Grazie.
