We booked our sailing day trip to Ithaca and it was the highlight of our trip. The boat comes with a crew of two. They were attentive, polite, even accommodating to stay at a specific place a bit longer within our schedule. Needless to say we had a smooth sailing experience. We would highly recommend this sailing day trip with YachtHop.

I was in Athens for a couple days and decided to spend the afternoon during one of those days on the water with YachtHop. The crew was so helpful from start to finish. When you arrive, you might question if you're at the right place, and it seemed most other passengers were a little confused, but fear no, you are in the right pick up spot. About 5-10 minutes before scheduled departure, the captain will come buy to walk you to the yacht.
Throughout the journey, one of the crew members came around with beverages (beer, wine, and water), and they also served a delicious dinner that was prepared right on the boat. We made two stops and got to jump into the refreshing water for a swim. They also provided snorkeling gear and other water accessories like noodles to keep you afloat. The sail back was a little choppy, but it was part of the allure of being on the Aegean Sea. The vibe on this particular day was low key and chill, not quite like those party catamarans you see all over Cabo, Mexico.
All in all, I enjoyed my day with YachtHop and would highly recommend others to hop on.

Great sail trip on catamaran w Captain Alex and Joana, made us feel very welcome and were very attentive. Lunch was very good. Please note that trip does not land on beach, only two stops nd near the coast, great for swimming and snorkeling. Suggest you bring your own mask and equipment. Bring sunscreen. Highly recommend trip and affordable...PS only issue from a tourist perspective was getting specific directions to Alimos Marina, pier 6 and contact info for tour operator.

We arrived at the boat, were met by friendly people and a very nice boat. So far so good. But the trip doesn't include much guidance or information (no one is sharing any info about where we are, what we can see, where we are going etc.) and the route itself can definitely be improved (we went to a spot where multiple boats were also stopped where we could swim, nothing to see really, and then to a spot off the coast from a beach where we could swim again & again nothing interesting to see). We were served food, the starters were nice, but the main meal was undercooked rice & frozen vegetables... I understand the difficulty of cooking on a boat, and if I can share some suggestions - you don't need to cook! We would have been 10 times happier with some nice olives, cheese, tomatoes, some bread, olive oil... keep it simple, but buy fresh local ingredients. Less is more :)
Overall I would recommend looking for other options for a boat trip :-/

Perfect way to beat the heat and spend the afternoon. I had an incredible time sailing down the coast of Athens on their beautiful boat. The others on the trip were very friendly and I can say we all enjoyed ourselves. Stopped a couple times for a swim in pleasantly warm water. Bring your goggles and a floaty. Incredible home cooked lunch composed of multiple authentic Greek dishes. Finished with a return back up the coast during picturesque sunset. Christos and Nicky are very polite and great hosts! I would definitely take the trip again!

My husband and I had been wanting to take our 5 year old daughter on a short boat trip that also included swimming. Many of the tours we found were all day events, which was just too long for us. This one however, was a great length of time; not too long and not too short!
Our daughter got the experience of being on a catamaran and jumping off the boat into the ocean. She even made an Australian friend on the boat, who she plans to keep in touch with.
The staff were very friendly and accomodating and made us feel at ease.

My wife always talked about sipping champagne on a yacht so I booked a day trip with Yacht Hop for the family and it was better than perfect. The crew were amazing, friendly and helpful. Dropping anchor at various places along the Greek Riviera coast for a swim. So special, wonderful memories. Hope to be back with a group of friends soon!

We had such an amazing time on board the boat. We were taken to a swimming spot around an hour away and then a second spot a further half hour away in a bay by astir. Our hosts were so great in keeping us safe, hydrated and fed. The boat was much larger than expected so was super comfortable to hang out on. We really loved our time on the boat and we were super merry and relaxed when we got back. Highly recommend this activity to get you out of a city state of mind. Plus it’s only a 10-15 euro trip in a taxi down to the marina from the centre of town so super reasonable to get there.

Firstly, I reached out late and was impressed by how quickly YachtHop responded. I even made a mistake in my booking and they were so generous to work with me to make sure I could get on the water.
The sail was incredible. But more than anything - the hospitality and the vibes were what made it a core memory. Joanna on the crew is so kind and filled with warmth and just went above and beyond for my friends and I. You feel totally at home on the seas - I cannot thank her and the Captain enough for the experience. She cooked the most incredible meal and played the best tunes. It was impossible not to be smiling from ear to ear while on board.
I have been recommending this to anyone who is Athens. The loveliest crew, the most beautiful swimming, and an epic sunset sail. Thank you to the whole team at YachtHop - cannot wait to come back.

A wonderful experience with our office team. The crew was wonderful - we made 2 stops for swimming and we also had a late lunch/early dinner prepared by rhe hostess.
I couldn’t have thought of a better way to enjoy a sail whilst being in Athens. An experience not to be missed.

Travel insurance is something we always recommend, despite having our boats and guests insured when at sea. For time spent ashore is better to be insured.
