Highly recommend Cinque wine and olive oil tasting!
After an excellent wine tasting event at Cinque earlier in the week, we booked an olive oil tasting at their location near Monastiraki. Our host, Nikitas, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He taught us how to evaluate the oils and to understand the differences between them. Afterward, we had a delicious charcuterie platter of Greek cheeses and meats. Nikitas even let us taste several digestifs after the meal. The location is a very charming shop and is central to the Plaka district. I highly recommend a stop at any of the Cinque locations while you're in Athens!

The place for a great wine experience in Athens
I have been to Cinque a few times… and each time I go I feel like I like I am not learning something new, but also that I have a new “wine moment.” Their selection of wines is amazing. Not only because it covers most of the regions in Greece, but because all the wines I had are special in one way or another. Speaking of special, the service they provide is out of this world. They really make you feel like family. If you are a #winelover and you haven’t experienced it yet… you are missing something unique! Yamas! 🍷

We knew about Cinque Wine Delights as we have tasted platters from their menu before, but have never been to the place until recently! We're only glad we did since it was an excellent experience. The food was awesome, the owners very welcoming, with great knowledge about wine, They have a very nice variety of greek wines and you can rest assured that you will find one close to your tastes.

I can't wait to visit this place again!

The one not-to-miss in Athens. You got into a wine journey with Evangelia & Grigoris, who are obviously wine lovers and owners.

I have been here 3 years ago and had great experience. When i came back this year, things got even better than my memories. Cinque has kept improving and made my experience even more personal. The wine the delight bites are perfect. Thank you for wrapping our last night in Athens with a perfect time.

To earn a return from a tourist is not an easy task but Cinque could do it. I know for sure I will be here again next time I’m in Athens.

Excellent wine and food experience at modest price

I have been to this restaurant tonight, and the sister restaurant earlier this week. Both excellent experiences. I’ve read the other very positive reviews and agree with them, without hesitation or qualification. The format is simple: excellent Greek wines and food produce, served simply, with respect to the products, with acknowledgement and celebration of the producers and the geography& locality of the produce. Also, friendly, helpful, patient staff. I tasted the salami/ prosciutto-type meats, the various cheeses etc on offer. All interesting, unique and grounded in their own locale. Similarly, all wines (can be by the glass, by the bottle or by the flight: I tried a flight of 5) are chosen to highlight and explain either all of the , mostly, unique Greek grapes, the geography & terroir of the wine and the skill and technique of the winemaker. But, overall, the managent and staff just want their customers to enjoy the experience.

On one of my previous visit in Athens i met owners of this beautiful place. As i know they have amazing wine bar located in Psiri i came to see their new shop, which is by the way very close to Monastiraki square. As i entered in shop i was amazed. Beautiful place with lot of love for wine inside. Here you can find a lot of wines, before you buy some you also have a chance to taste it. Also you can find many other deli that goes with wine, cheese, salami, chocolates....and many other things. Nice stuff will wait for you and explain all you are interesting for, give you advises for deli and help you make the best choice. It's one of the place you shouldn't miss if you visit Athens.

If you like wine it’s a must!

Wow wow wow; the best experience in Athens! The wine flight with the explanations is remarkable, same thing with the food! The attention to details, the knowledge of the staff, this was by far the best wine/restaurant experience ever and I did a lot!

An absolute must while in Athens!

Cinque wine delights was absolutely perfect for our last night in Athens. The staff was amazing and very friendly! They made us feel like part of the family. They let us taste many local wines until we found one that we loved. The cheese and meat plate with the homemade chutneys was absolutely amazing! If you love wine and cheese, you have to go here!

Afternoon tastings

My wife and I read the reviews about Cinque and were keen to try some authentic Greek wines whilst in Athens so decided to try it out. We arrived at about 5pm, which was obviously a good time as it was nice and quiet.

After explaining how to order we went for the rainbow tasting wine mix which consisted of 5 75ml glasses - 2x red, 2x white and a rosé. Each wine was described and shown on a map where it originated from along with tasting notes - you then can pick your favourite and order a larger glass if you like (we did!)

We also tried the 20 euro charcuterie platter which was worth every penny - a fantastic selection of cured meats, cheeses, dried fruits, olives and 5 delicious homemade chutneys along with some peanut brittle which was amazing!

If you want to try out some traditional Greek wines and nibbles I would definitely recommend checking out Cinque!
