We selected Olive Sea Travel for our Custom Private Tour or mainland Greece based on reviews like the one I am about to write. From the very first email sent inquiring about tours to the very last day of our tour Olive Sea Travel exceeded all expectations. Helen was our tour guide and Harris our driver. For 7 days we toured with these two incredibly professional, knowledgeable, intelligent and friendly Greeks. Helen is the best tour guide we have ever had. Whether we were in Athens, Meteora, Delphi, Olympia, Nafplio, Sounio or any of the various spots in between, she knew the history, culture and significance of each location. Not sure how any one person can have that much detail knowledge and the talent to share it openly and effectively but she does. Harris is the silent type that is very funny at the same time. When he talks...we all listened! He made sure we were punctual and safe at all times. Harris and Helen were a great team for my wife and myself on our 7 day tour of Greece. Vasilis, (who I believe is the owner of Olive Sea), took great care of us! His office staff is extremely responsive and flexible to our desires and needs. The entire experience was 5-Star! We highly recommend using Olive Sea Travel any time you can!!!

Working with Dimitra at Olive Sea Travel was the best thing I did for my family when we visited Greece, and our driver Kostas was awesome! No one tour would have hit all the places each of my family members wanted to see, so I reached out to Olive Sea Travel with a list of sites. Dimitra not only handled the logistics but purchased our Skip the Line tickets at each site as well. She was patient with my many questions and incredibly responsive to emails. Having her coordinate everything took so much stress off of my plate! Our driver Kostas loved his town, and it showed. He showed us sites not on our list and let us determine how long we spent at each site. My husband and youngest got tired so he took them back to our hotel while our oldest and I enjoyed a museum. He didn't rush us and encouraged us to take our time. Having a private driver and custom itinerary wasn't that much more expensive than had I booked a "tour" for my family. Olive Sea Travel made everything easy and fun!

My friends and I had a great experience during the Delphi Private Tour. Dem was an awesome guide- he is extremely knowledgeable about all things Greece- mythology, history, culture, etc. He answered all of the questions we had and provided us with a thorough understanding of the sites we visited (Hosios Loukas & Delphi). We were comfortable the entire time (the luxury van was clean and spacious) and Dem was on time when picking us up during all parts of the trip. We had ample time to visit both sites and our lunch at Arachova was fantastic. I strongly recommend this tour to those who would like to visit Delphi at their own pace and would like to have their own personal tour guide. I would note that Dem was not able to physically join us at each of the sites since he was not licensed (he dropped us off and picked us up)- however this was NOT an issue as he filled us in on the history of both sites during the time we were traveling (which we had plenty). Strongly recommend this agency (extremely professional, responsive, and attentive) and strongly recommend Dem as a guide!

We booked a half day service that included port pick up and hotel drop off with a tour in between. Our driver and tour guide (Sunday) arrived at the port of Piraeus right on time and was very easy to find. He was a wealth of knowledge and information and took the time to explain everything and answer our questions. Unfortunately, the Acropolis was closed due to high heat, so we were not able to see it, but we still had a great time exploring the major highlights of Athens anyway. The car was high quality and very clean and Sunday was an excellent driver. Would highly recommend this service to anyone planning to stay in Athens after a cruise and needs to kill a few hours before their hotel check in. Great service!

Since we had been to Athens several times, we decided to go out of the norm and visit the Peloponnese. We contacted Olive Sea Travel who constructed an itinerary to fit our ship's arrival and departure time. The driver arrived as scheduled and took us on our adventure even managing to stop at a few other sites along the way. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. The driver friendly and informative. I would definitely contact Olive Sea Travel for any future excursions in the Athens area.

I was struggling to organize my first trip to Greece, until I found Dimitra from Olive Sea Travel. She was the most efficient, organized, responsive and accommodative travel agent I ever worked with . She helped us book a 9 day tour that included all airport and ferry pickups, full day Athens tour, Mykonos half day tour, Santorini 6 hour tour with Oia Sunset. The drivers were well versed in the history of the pace and spoke good English. The schedule was managed promptly. Above all, Dimitra was available at all times to check on our travel. Initially, we were picked up by Nassos who was excellent in helping us navigate through Athens. We had a great tour of Acropolis and neighboring Athens, elegant place to have lunch by the ocean and do shopping. Mykonos and Santorini trips were equally well organized and the drivers were extremely helpful in making our trip a memorable one. There were a couple of things that made this especially sweet. Dimitra was able to book us into two fantastic hotels in Mykonos and Santorini and all our trip were charged and paid through Olive Sea Travel prior to arrival. This made it easier for us to enjoy our holiday without anxiety. While the drivers are knowledgeable about the area, they are not official tour guides. You can always hire an official tour guide through them if you need. I cannot be happier about the choice I made to book through Olive Sea Travel. I highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Greece. Special thanks to Dimitra for making our holiday a lovely, unforgettable, stress-free vacation. Could not have done without your help.

We had the most enjoyable day of our holiday on the full day tour with Nasos, we were taken to the usual sites- The Acropolis, Temple of Zeus …but early enough to miss the crowds, Nasos was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information not just about Athens but about the history of Greece. We were also treated to some quirky ways on how things are done in Greece, with special treats like an up and close encounter with the Presidential Guards and a quick detour for a dip in the Aegean on our way to Sounion for the sunset over The Temple of Poseidon when he found out we had not had a swim in Greece- nothing was to much trouble for Nasos. The lunch was delicious at a local cafe, and you can always tell how good the food is somewhere when the locals visit there as well- overall a most enjoyable day and worth every cent

Since we had been to Athens numerous times we booked a private tour of the Peloponnese. Olive Sea Travel was very accommodating in arranging an itinerary that corresponded with our ship's arrival and departure time. The driver arrived on time, the vehicle clean and comfortable. We even had time to make a few additional stops along the way. The driver was friendly and informative. I would definitely contact Olive Sea Travel to arrange trips in Greece.

Beginning with our first emails to set up transfers and tours prior to arriving in Athens and continuing through our departure from Piraeus, Dimitra of Olive Sea was just terrific - she was always prompt to respond and ready to expertly handle all the details for us, with great suggestions for our itinerary. We were in good hands from the moment we arrived at the airport, with a driver who met us and got us transferred to and set up at our hotel. Then for several days our wonderfully engaging driver Terry (superb! - always on time and at the ready) shared with our group of two retired American couples his great local knowledge, as well as insights for borne of his time in the US, and adroitly coordinated for us with the guides Olive Sea provided for day tours of Athens and Delphi. The Olive Sea team was superb at helping us avoid crowds and overly "touristic" places and getting us into local favorite spots. And when we decided at the last minute to add Corinth to the tour list, Dimitra immediately flexed to add that tour for us, even getting our new friend Terry to drive us for another day. With Terry also handling the transfer from our hotel to our cruise ship in Pireaus, we had enjoyed several days of never having to worry about getting to where we wanted to go the entire time we were visiting Athens. What a wonderful, effortless experience to have such enthusiastic pros handling everything for us - not having to waste time finding help and handling logistics gave us more time to fall in love with Greece !

I reached out to Olive Sea Travel prior to my tour with some questions, and they promptly answered them. They even bought me a combo ticket in advance so I could save on entrance fees to some of the sites. I originally booked a solo trip, but it got changed to a small group tour, which I didn’t realize in advance. However, everything worked out well. The driver and guide were very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the tour.

Is it possible to pick up 4 adults with 4 small suitcases from a hotel near the Acropolis at 8 am on April 21, 2020, and drive us to Acropolis, Parthenon, and a few other sights, then drop us off at the airport around 5 PM. If so how do we schedule it and how much? Thank you!

Could someone please help by explaining why the total price for a day tour is three times more for two persons than is originally advertised? A trip priced at £47.45 per person shoots up to 262.60 for 2 for a day tour. Why? Thanks.
