We recently wrote a review of Georges Taxi. In addition to the great service we had with them, we had an independent contractor named Vaso join us as our guide. She was amazing! Funny, smart, patient, so well versed in the history of Greece. She made our last day perfect . We couldn’t have had a better person! Thank you Vaso.

Mama Faye and her like-a-son driver, Mario, took such good care of us from the minute they arrived at our hotels. Faye's love and vast knowledge of Athens is remarkable. I truly hope she will write a book someday! Our first stop was at the peaceful Kaisariani Monastery. We would never have found this on our own as it is a bit remote and not always open. Faye then took us to her favorite spots in Athens to shop and have a fabulous lunch before heading to the Acropolis and Museum. The next day we took a day trip with Faye to Delphi where we toured the Archaeological Museum and hiked up to see the Temple of Apollo. We would have missed SO much without Faye guiding us! After our tour we stopped in Arachova for a fabulous lunch and some incredible hand-made rug shopping! Then back to Athens, another great day!

Finding Faye Georgiou as a tour guide for The Acropolis Museum Tour was a highlight on our trip to Greece! Six ladies enjoyed her vast knowledge as she explained word origins, mythology, and historical facts. She captured our attention with storytelling and appropriate humor. After the museum tour, we were carefully guided up the hill to the Parthenon, with stops along the way. We highly recommend Faye, an excellent guide!

Faye was an excellent guide for our group of 6 retired women. She gave us in-depth information at the museum and on the hike up to the Parthenon. She was conscious of some of us going slower than others so would stop and allow us to rest all the time giving additional information. I would highly recommend Faye as a tour guide. She was delightful!

I recommend Thenia with all my heart. She speaks perfect English and German. She deeply knows Greek history and can give the best advises as a local. She has travelled all around Greece. She has an intellectual and artistic spirit. But most of all she knows the meaning philoxenia (Greek hospitality). 100% recommended. Thank you Thenia for making us love Athens.
