We had the great privilege of spending a day exploring the hidden gems of the Argolis peninsula with our fabulous guide Nikos. His knowledge and experience provided us with the perfect platform for the most memorable day of our holiday. The trip was well paced, included many swim and food stops and and kept our teenage children both engaged and entertained. Nikos has a warm, friendly nature and is very amusing. Fabulous memories for the whole family which we shall treasure.

Julie and family. Thank you very much for the great review. It was an amazing and very very pleasant day for us too. You have been such a considerate and a very careful group! COVID-19 made this summer the best? time to be in Greece and explore, but only for the brave ones! Many locals and a decent number of international visitors created a different more authentic experience for all of us. Thank you again!

We used Eudaimonia Private Tours for a day trip to Mycenae, Epidaurus, & Nafplio (from Athens) & had a great experience! We booked directly through their website approximately 2 months in advance & had great communication via email prior to our arrival. On the morning of the tour, Nikos was promptly waiting for us in the lobby of our hotel. We were on the road early in order to reach Mycenae right as it opened, however we did stop for a quick look at the Corinth canal since it was along the way. Once we arrived, Nikos fetched our entrance tickets, showed us where to meet him once we were finished, then sent us on our way. We did a self-guided tour (via our Rick Steves book), which was enjoyable as it was not yet crowded, then dropped by the museum on our way out. We spent a total of about 1.5 hours there before continuing on to my favorite stop, Nafplio. Nikos dropped us off at the top of Palamidi Fortress to explore (one of the highlights of the day, in my opinion!), then met us at the bottom of the 999 steps to take us to a delicious, local lunch. He had been discreetly asking what we liked to eat/drink throughout the day, so when we arrived at the restaurant, he knew exactly what to order us – I wish I remembered the name of this place because everything was phenomenal. We raved about the olive oil on the Greek salad, so Nikos unexpectedly went to the kitchen & came back with a bottle for us! We then continued on to our last stop, Epidaurus, which was surprisingly not crowded at all. We spent a total of about 1.5 hours there exploring the small museum & walking the steps of the stunning theater before starting the journey back to Athens. We also used Eudaimonia for a private transfer from the airport to our hotel upon our arrival in Athens, as well as from our hotel back to the airport upon our departure. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the gentleman’s name, but he was friendly & arrived on time on both occasions, including a 5:25AM pickup to transport us to the airport – The van was clean, spacious, & way better than taking taxi! We’re so grateful for the hospitality Eudaimonia Private Tours showed us during our time in Athens & would highly recommend them to any couples/families looking for top-notch service & an unforgettable experience!

We can only say thank you very much for taking the time to do this great review for us. It is not often that people spend the time to review our tours although they are very happy with their experience. It's a busy world and a busy life so ... we understand. But for us reviews are a great help and a great satisfaction! We love reviews that are more than ... "great tour, bla, bla" so once again thank you very much and of course STAY HEALTHY -under the current sirtation- that will go away as it did in China! We would love to see you or your friends back.

We took this trip with the focus being entirely on obtaining photos at the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion. For certain, we were not disappointed! The photos captured of the temple and along our drive of the coastline are priceless. We opted for a quick stop by Vouliagmeni Lake, yet chose not to swim. Theo, in my personal and professional opinion, has to be one of the best tour guides in the industry; patient, intelligent, and his hospitality first-class! He allocated time for us to take unplanned photos along the coastline and stopped on our return drive to capture a night photo! I would take the tour again in a nanosecond!

Thanks for taking this tour with us. What can we say about your review? Just very glad you appreciated so much our services and of course this is our driving force. We try a lot but at the same time we are not trying so much, because we enjoy what we do especially with people that are so open and outgoing as yourselves. THANK YOU!

We really liked Nikos and he did a wonderful job showing us around the various sites. He did a good job keeping the conversation for the car ride, and was spot on with his food and drink suggestions during our lunch. Personally we actually don't prefer private tours because we like interacting with more people during the tour if at all possible. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible in this case. One thing we wished Nikos did, however, was spend more time with us at some of the sites. For example, he might have been a useful guide during our time in Corinth, and when we did the Cave of Lakes tour, our guide had to do it in Greek for everyone else and explain everything a second time to just the two of us. I think it might have been better if Nikos came in with us to explain things in English. (And yes we feel bad for not knowing the local language...I wish we did understand Greek!) The trip overall was lovely and we recommend Nikos and his company wholeheartedly!

Thank you very much for the review. Apologies for the Greek only speaking guide in the Cave of Lakes. We were misled by the tickets people saying that their guide will be speaking English; otherwise I would have been with you to enjoy the walk. The guides at the caves are almost volunteers and not always English speaking! Private tours are a different and better experience but it takes two -like many other things in life- to make them a successful experience. The good thing is that overall it was still a very good (4 star) but not an excellent (5 star) experience. :) Thank you once again for choosing Eudaimonia Private Tours!

+1
Theodore was our guide for the day and he was an absolute blast!! He is very young and SUPER knowledgeable! You can ask him literally anything and he would know the answer. Very open and honest! This was our first private tour and it is def something we would do again. We got to visit many places and for the most part we got to move on our own time! The food was great! We let Theo choose our meal and we were not let down LOL The travel car was comfy and cozy! Our favorite of them all was the railway train!!! Absolutely beautiful! Great tour and tour guide! Would highly recommend if visiting Greece (:
