Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.

One of the few bars with a character left in Athens. Totally worth it if you find yourself at the city center. Quality drinks,quality people and magnificent service. Try the Greek wines selection!

I love to spend time at Rabbithole due to its nice decoration, excellent food and drinks, cool music and beautiful people. Key location to be in the center of Athens. Congrats for the name of the place---I am a Big "Alice in Wonderland" fan :)

We went based on the consistently good reviews but were disappointed. It's a nice place, plenty of space and the staff were friendly. But we found the cocktails to be very average, overly sweet and expensive. Plus the lighting needs to be dimmed down for the evening. It felt like a daytime cafe.

Rabbithole is one of these cute little places hidden on the Athenian chaos. The ambient is great, the drinks list is descent and the service good. Additionally, is one of the few places that actually preserve a non-smoking police (at least at some parts of the bar). Cool tunes, great food are also a plus. Would defo recommend it.

So many fabulous bars in Athens but this one is consistently the best. Fabulous beers and spirits and all the staff seem to be masters of making cocktails. Don’t come to Athens without going down the Rabbit Hole.

Nice place to have a beer and chat with friends. Music is good, but not too loud. The place looks nice and is not very expensive.

Nice atmosphere and great service! Very cosy and simple design, friendly stuff and delicious cocktails. Perfect place to have a drink with a good company of friends!
