If you have a sweet tooth then this is the place. All sorts of traditional as well as unique sweets - melomakarona, kourabies, chocolates, marzipan, chestnut puree dipped in chocolate -this is heavenly- just a few to mention. Prices on the high side but if you want the best, then go for it!!!

I loved wandering in here. I was able to get all sorts of little gift items for all of the grand children. It was just fun seeing all that there was to see.

My husband's mother (an elderly Athenian who only shops at the very best places) asked my husband to buy me some chocolates here. It was the best gift ever: they smell divine, are sinfully and exquisitely delicious and beautifully hand-crafted (you can see the video of the chocolate factory inside the store, which reminded me of an I Love Lucy episode). Centrally located just around the corner from Syntagma, it's a must - do. Check out the photos of Grace Kelly shopping here when she was in Athens. Reminds me of Mondels in Morningside Heights, NYC, where Katherine Hepburn used to shop.

This small shop is a hidden gem. It is the best of Athens. You are walking into a time warp. Old fashioned and great quality. The bags of peeled Pistaccio nuts are the best gift you can receive. We eat them by the handful. The chocolates are delicious as well. I recommend this place to anyone coming to Athens .
