About Schedia Invisible Tours
The “Invisible tours” is a social tour program in which homeless people become tour guides -and community leaders- in a very different city walk through the backstreets of central Athens. The guides provide information on services offered by different institutions as well as how they have experienced or are still experiencing homelessness. The aim is to energize the guides to help themselves.

It is always worth spending some time in parts of our city which prima facie are not so privileged. Whilst being there, one realizes how important it is to support people in need; and how many people have dedicated time and effort in supporting others. These are everyday stories which form part of our city's life and should not be disregarded or underestimated. Highly recommended for people who have decided not to live in a bubble!

We make the tour today with Mike, he helps us to discover deeply the reality of Athens, the dark and the light parts of this city. It's the best way to visit that, really suggested!

A tour to better understand the story and the actual situation of the city after the crisis Micheal was the best tour guide ever: Athens is not only the Acropoli, the Agora or Syntagma... he showed us the bright side but also the dark side of the city and his inhabitants telling us his past, present and future

Mijail was our tour guide for the invisible tour and it has been such an amazing experience! We got to see Athens beyond just the bright shine of the Greek marble. It was interesting to see how so many individuals have dedicated their lives to helping others, and how still the city needs help. I definitely recommend this to everyone!

It was an eye-opening experience to see Athens bright and dark side at the same time. I felt emotionally involved throughout the guided tour, and was glad I had a chance to take part in this special tour. I highly recommend it anyone! Many thanks for our tour guide's compassion.
