4 years ago we came to Phuket and had an amazing day out with a gorgeous 40 feet “Playlife” boat and an amazing crew that spoiled the 10 of us including the kids. So, when we planned to meet again with my wife’s family in Phuket I called Simon straight away and oh boy he did live up to the expectations!
This time we booked a slightly bigger boat (70 feet) with more shade space so that everybody could lounge around and still carry all the kayaks, SUPs, snorkeling gear and whatnot. Sean and Mark were amazing hosts and took us on a perfectly tailor-made day that considered all the things we wanted to see and the weather on the day around Krabi. The grand parents loved it, the brothers and sisters loved it, kids loved it and we loved it. What a special day.
So, odds are, we will see each other again in a year or 2! Thanks guys!

Initially reached out through Facebook for recommendations and Simon messaged me almost straight away. He was incredibly helpful and not pushy at all. Our original date was postponed due to high winds and large waves which we were thankful for. Dennis, Annie and Captain Wit on board were all incredibly friendly and helpful, always on hand to answer questions and highlight islands and their history but always seemed invisible when we were talking as a family or swimming as all great hosts should be.
Travelled with 8 adults and 3 kids (7,5&2), would highly recommend to all families with small kids.

We worked with Simon at Epic Charters. He was communicative and everything went as planned! This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and our family loved the power catamaran experience much better than the typical speedboat experience. I would highly recommend Simon and Epic Charters! When I go back, he is my first call!

We had a wonderful day that will remain engraved in our memories for a long time.
We visited Phang Nga Bay, it was sublime, we were amazed, the food was very good (the service provider adapted to certain people's diets), the boat was very spacious and comfortable. We were also able to enjoy the slide, kayaks and paddles. We didn't have time to get bored away from there.
Special mention for Captain “Jack Sparrow” and the crew who showed extraordinary kindness and dedication.

many thanks to simon for the perfect planning of this boat tour! From the first contact, all questions were always answered quickly.
the pickup was perfectly organized and we were warmly welcomed by Dennis at the marina.
we had an extraordinary and unforgettable day on board the stunning Private Yacht „Playlife“. we lacked nothing and we feel good and safe at all times. Thanks to the whole crew!
the lunch was freshly prepared on board by Annie and was absolutely delicious. the day was perfect all round! many thanks for everything. We will be back!

Simon was great from the start- promptly answered my emails and many questions.
Captain James and Jiffy are the absolute best!
My husband and I chartered the boat for ourselves mainly because my husband gets seasick in rough waters. When we arrived captain James suggested we go off our scheduled itinerary because of choppy waters, so we let him choose the when and where and we couldn't have been more pleased. From lunch and snorkeling on a remote island to caving on another.
They avoided the "tourist traps" and made us feel extra special.
Jiffy also went above and beyond and reserved us the best table at the most scenic sunset restaurant on the island.
These two are diamonds in the rough. Thanks for such a memorable experience.

To put it quite simply - the most spectacular experience we had in Thailand!
Simon and his team worked tirelessly with me to give my family and myself a once in a lifetime experience and they exceeded beyond our wildest dreams.
Our trip started at 9am about an hour away from Patong. Our boat, The Coastal Cruiser was as the name suggests - a cruiser and it provided a smooth, quiet journey out to the picturesque Phang Nga sea caves. While we soaked up the scenary that wouldn’t look out of place on a glossy postcard Jimmy, our host gave us an informal history lesson on the area as we enjoyed some ice cold drinks. During our 90 minute trip out to the caves we tried our hand at fishing but it wasn’t to be. Just before we arrived at our first stop the onboard chef treated us to some snacks to keep us going for the next couple of hours, little did we know this was only the tip of the iceberg as far as the food was concerned. There are guides stationed out at the caves on canoes that can take you around these majestic caves for a fee but our beautiful boat came equipped with canoes so we got to paddle around at our own pace. Whilst the other tour companies get their clients in and out pretty quick we got to really explore the caves and even get out of the canoe and swim around. It really is a truly amazing experience that is perfectly safe to do with children, in fact I would go so far as to say it is a better experience for kids than Phi Phi Island.
After we spend just over two hours canoeing, swimming and jumping off the top deck of the boat we were treated to the most delicious lunch you could imagine. I can confidently say with my hand on my heart the food that the chef prepared was the best we had in all of Phuket. The authentic Thai food was freshly prepared in the boats kitchen from scratch and there was plenty to go around.
After lunch we had around another half an hour or so of swimming/canoeing/jumping before we set off to another little island. During the transit we all had a little siesta on one of the boats multi level decks.
The next stop saw more jumping off the boat, swimming, canoeing and even paddle boarding. The captain moored the boat aprox 200 meters from the island and we paddled over to it in the canoes. The island was home to one little white kitten and1000’s on sand crabs which entertained the kids to no end. And before you ask, yes the kitten did have a home, with a local fishing family who arrived home by boat just as we were leaving. It was quiet a sight to see a kitten as white as snow running down to the waters edge to meet its family. Adorable.
After we returned to the boat the chef had prepared MORE food for afternoon tea, and just a little tip - the hand made spring rolls were out of this world good!
Exhausted and full (in a good way) we arrived back at the Ao Po Marina around 5.30pm having had a awesome day.
If you ever get the opportunity to do this trip please do, it is worth every cent.

Thank you for your lovely and generous comments and we are so happy that you enjoyed the trip up into one of our own favorite places to visit - Phang Nga Bay. This area offers amazing sightseeing, exploration and the chance to see and walk in caves, hidden beaches and Hongs and is truely stunning.
A wonderful place for a Day Charter or an Overnight Charter it offers something for everyone.

After having visited Thailand 17 years ago, this time I wanted to go with my family for my twins 15th years birthday celebration. I wanted to visit Maya Bay as I remembered as one of the must beautifiul places I have ever seen, so I wanted my kids to see the place. I looked and surfed for weeks the web looking for a private nice and safe boat to charter for that special trip. Look no further. This is The Boat, The Company. Epic team (Simon and Wbnie) have done a very thing possible to accommodate what I was looking for, so that this trip could be memorable. They have gone overboard with everything. They kept me well informed and regular contact to update me on every detail needed. We rented the boat fantasylife, which is the best you can imagine. His owner Dennis and his crew where more than fantastic. We had the best possible day. They treated us in the best possible way. The truth is that they arethe true anda an sea pearl!! No exaggeration. So if you want a private excelent boat with a great co pany and best crew, look no further. I hope I can plan another trip with them soon. They are the best. Best trip ever!

This is the 6th time we have chartered a boat from Epic Charters. This time for a group of 10 people. The boat was great and the crew, even better! Simon Murray is easy to work with and Jiffy, simply amazing! Looking forward to #7 next year!

After originally booking the luxury power boat, we had heard that it would be out of commission due to a fix that needed to happen - no problem - they moved us to their "Wave Dancer" boat which was very comfortable and a total blast! Jiffy and crew more than went out of their way to take care of us, show us around, and they were a lot of fun to just hangout with! Lunch served on board was delicious; we aren't big eaters and couldn't have all that was served, but it was excellent! Jiffy checked in often and also was very good about just letting us hangout when we wanted to, but she was so fun to talk with that we chatted throughout most of the journey. The boat itself was very clean, great shape, and I'd strongly recommend taking a charter with this company; very honest and well priced! This was the highlight of my trip to Thailand/Phuket, I can't imagine being disappointed booking their private charter; I hope to do it again one day!

Jasen, It was a pleasure and I am glad you enjoyed the charter and again sorry for the inconvenience and I was happy to be able to give you the free upgrade to Wave Dancer.
Glad you enjoyed the food as well, I keep telling the chef but she is only happy when people have left the boat heavier than when they arrived and loves to see people enjoy her food.

What kind of things are included in the fee? I have checked out the webpages for the individual boat but it seems unclear as to whether the fees for crew members are included, as well as how many crew members there will be.

So sorry for the delay in responding to you! The boat listings (click on the Details Tab or the Photo or Boat Name to go to the main boat page) tell you exactly what is included and not included.
With all of the boats we offer the crew, fuel & water fees are included
Depending on the boat they may or may not include alcohol (if they do its listed) or sell it on the boat.
Each boat has a different number of crew as it depends on the boat size and style - there will always be a minimum of Captain and Boat Boy as a standard, some boats also offer more than one boat boy/ hostess or host.
The best thing if you have any questions about the boats or services offered it to drop us an email which you can do from the website

It really depends on which style of boat you choose motor or sail, yacht or catamaran, how many people you have and also where and when you were looking to go - ie Peak Sean or Low Season and the different destinations can have a different cost
The best idea is to drop me an email via our website (trip advisor will not let me post the email address here ) and I will be happy to help you once you provide me with the above - give me an idea of what you are looking to spend for the day as I have a large selection of boats that range from 25,000 THB all the way up to 300,000 THB per day!
I am currently on a short break but will have limited access to emails and will try to respond - if it is not urgent then I return officially to work on Saturday the 23rd and can give you my full attention.
