I am not normally attracted to English pubs abroad, but this is an exception to the rule and I have visited a couple of times this year, in March and June this year. It's a nice pub, it has good beer, and the very hardworking owners are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They recognised us from the first time as well. If you want a great evening or a late night beer (this stays open later than all of the others) in La Cala de Mijas I heartily recommend this place.

A little gem of a place ,we visit every time whilst staying in la cala. Hosts Tina and Barry even walked (carried !) us to the taxi rank! Amazing selection of crisps washed down with the best champagne on the Costa del sol. Many thanks

Nige is top man, nothing too much trouble and always has a smile on his face - a good northern welcome and cheery disposition, this place is a must for anyone looking for a friendly and relaxed atmosphere!

Found this lovely little bar, good landlord and lady. Drinks at the right price not been ripped of. Spent a nice few nights in their company. Hopefully will return one day. Thank you Andrew and Fiona

a corner bar close to the beach , not your normal “ English Bar “ in Spain but a small quiet pub mostly English but also German / Scandinavian
Watched the first English game with 5 or so screens so no problems there
Cheap prices also help but also a great atmosphere

Stopped here for a drink of an evening the rose wine was the worst i have tasted just like vinegar! and my husband got charged 5euros for a pint ! never again ,also a glass of wine in most bars is only 2euros its 2.50 here.

Very friendly, cheap drinks £2.50 for a beer, great stop over while on a pub crawl, very close to see front. Could order a beer then watch kids play on the ship outside ;-)

Popped in again for late drinks, management has changed, the decor has not, its a good place for a drink before your taxi home, friendly customers, keep it in mind.

Enjoyed the pub quiz on Tuesday evening. Good fun, good crowd, great quizmaster.
