What a trip! Slow but an awesome visit into the past! Corny, morning tea, but all part of the experience! The commentary awesome, just awesome! A big tick off the list. And the destination, Croydon, what a town!! Very well done!

I very nearly gave this two stars and I would have but for the enthusiasm of staff and for the historic nature of the train. The problem for me was the train ride itself. Beautifully restored carriages and lots of information from the driver but...More

A lovely step back in time for a couple of hours and a must for train spotters like my husband. Ingenious engineering on steel tracks and the middle carriage is the most comfortable.

Gulflander and Savannahlander trip A great experience, wonderful to see the country after a long wet season! But I would suggest a different supplier if you are contemplating this trip. What a disappointment. Do your research! If you follow their suggested trip you will spend...More
Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review. This is generally a page dedicated to The Gulflander train itself, rather than extended tours that include the train as one attraction. It is of concern to us that you had some shortcomings...More
Our timing did not allow for the chance to ride the Gulflander, but a visit to the station and station precincts gave us a good appreciation of it and the railway. A must do for rail buffs, equally hood for kids and worthwhile for anyone...More
Thanks for leaving us a review! We hope you get the opportunity to come back and actually ride the Gulflander some day.
We actually passed the "Gulflander" on our way up to Normanton and as the train runs on limited days that was as close as we got ! But we visited the Station were some rolling stock is held and the station itself is worthy of...More
