Did the 2.5 hour free walking tour which Lasted just under the advertised time.
They are an excellent way to orientate around a new city, get a snapshot of the history, learn some quirky facts and go places you would not otherwise visit.
There are tips on where to eat, tourist traps to avoid and a wealth of other information
The guides survive on tips so you pay what you think the value has been to you

I did the free walking tour of Porto with Ana and she gave us lots of information about the history of the city and the sights and she sang some Fado for us which was amazing! I highly recommend this 2.5 hour tour as a way to get to know the city. Just wear comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking and a lot of it up hill!

Rachel was excellent. While walking all over the historic part of Porto, she gave us a brief history of the city, and we talked about wine,food and culture as well. She also provided us with lots of local tips and food recommendations. Very polite and friendly, trying to let us know the city with excellent English. Book this tour, ask for Raquel!!

Our tour guide, Rachel, was awesome! She knew a lot about the history, food, wines, literature, and music of Porto! It was a beautiful walking tour that was about 2.5 hours long. Rachel gave helpful suggestions on where to eat the best food, drink the best wine, and save money where possible! Since it is a free walking tour you only pay the guide what you think their work is worth. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Wa had a wonderful tour with Catarina. We walk all around the historical city to see the main buildings, their story, some anecdotes about the city (history, food, culture). Catarina is joyful and really nice, and give us a lot of recommendations about the place to visit and restaurants to go.

A week ago I visited Oporto, and decided to attend the Historical Walking Tour. Tiago, who was our guide, showed us the city and counted a lot about history, culture and curiosities of this city. He also made us some local's recommendations, which were very useful during our stay there. I liked a lot the easy way he explained the historical events, as well as the way he adjusted to some language specifics - thank you for being so nice to shift from English to Spanish and vice versa in order to understand better the information. Unfortunately, I missed the Cultural and Wine tours, but I will attend them as soon as I come back. If you are visiting Oporto or plan to visit it, I highly recommend to attend at least one of these tours, thus you'll feel better the city and feel closer the people who live there.

We had a lovely tour with Silvia. She was very enthusiastic and told us a lot about the city, the locals an had a lot of tips where to go eat or see something. We really recommend to do the free walking tour with city lovers!

Went on the free walking tour with Anna and she was excellent. You meet in front of city hall just round the corner from the railway station and join the tour. You pay a tip at the end. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and gave lots of information and quirky facts about the city. At the end she even sang a fado song. Highly recommended

We did the Porto Walking and Wine Tasting Tour with Snacks. It was about 3.5 hours. We walked to Vila Nova de Gaia and enjoyed a wine cellar tour at Fonseco Cellars. Both the wine cellar guide and our City Lovers guide were very helpful and informative. After we walked back to Porto and stopped in at two more places to enjoy tapas and port wine. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout. The group was manageable (about 14) and we all had a chance to chat. Would definitely recommend them if you are going to Porto.

Took the 2 1/2 hour free City Lover Porto Tour with Ana B as a guide . She was fantastic and I would rate her one of the best guides I have ever had on a tour, and that says a lot as I have traveled the world .
Her English was easy to understand. Her knowledge was amazing and she told many interesting and entertaining anecdotes about Porto and Portugal’s history . All of that was added to by her funny and witty sense of humor . We all laughed a lot . I also liked how she kept us informed as to what was next in the tour and points we would get more detail later on the tour .

Porto is such a lovely city! The tour I had with Catarina was amazing. She's got such a vibrant personality and is really passionate about the city! I would recommend this your if you're visiting Porto!

If you mean you are chair bound, I would not recommend this tour. There are small steps and a lot of distance covered. When I was on the tour, the in-city road rallye created all kinds of diversions.
Probably best to see if they can do a private tour just for you and your group.

Os dejaron entrar con perro a visitar a alguna bodega?? La visita tour por la ciudad se podía hacer con el perro?? Conoceis alguna playa cercana a Oporto para ir con el perro?? Gracias :)

en las bodegas no es permitido animales; en las playas creo que la mayoría no permite tampoco.
En nuestros tours a pie si, es permitido.

Hola! nosotros lo hicimos ayer martes dia 25 julio y fue estupendo, muy recomendable!! sólo debes acudir a la estatua ecuestre que está frente al hotel intercontinental en la Avenida de los Aliados a las 10:00
