The only Church of St James in Northern Portugal, this beautiful Anglican Church was most welcoming! They have a Pilgrim's lounge, wonderful stained glass windows, including the stunning St James window, offer a stamp for your Credencial and the clergy and parishioners are most friendly and welcoming. We attended the Thursday liturgy and the clergy added special prayers for us before we started on our way to Santiago.

We attended the morning service during our stay in Porto. The congregation were very friendly and we were invited for a glass of wine afterwards where we met many interesting ex-pat residents of the city. The graveyard - believe it or not - is fascinating, and one comes across Commonwealth War Graves along side grandees of the Port industry. A peaceful corner of the city
