The Miguel Bombarda Street is posted as the "hipster-art area". Well, apart from one art-print shop which has the hipster-modern illustrator feel, the rest of the street stands out as a street with closed and no-access-galleries. Sorry, but this is not what I find of...More

Rough guide describes it as the newly renovated art and hipster area with boutiques cafes and galleries area. There were lots of building works going on but no art that I could see. One or two closed galleries and that was about 1.30. A lot of...More

Porto declared Roe Bombarda as its Art District. Well… there is some graffiti along the street, I did like the one that was a man's portrait and his beard was made out of green grass. I didn't feel it was worth the trouble of getting...More

This is more residential than art. The best art is actually the street art, which you can't buy, can't take home. But is brilliant.

Art district? How? We walked around and only one gallery was opened (we didn't even saw others, were they closed? not indentified?) Desappoiting.
