This trip was the highlight of our visit to Porto! Enjoyed every moment of it - from the friendly staff both on the ground and on board, the good food served (including the wine!) And of course the lovely views along the route! We only went as far as Régua but will definitely take the complete tour (which takes us... More

We bought a tour down the Douro for the day €65 per person, it included train trip up the river approx 2 hours then we met our boat and for the next 6 hours mothered back to Porto. A delicious three course lunch was served on board and some red and wine wine was included. The scenery was stunning lots... More

We were lucky enough to have an apartment with birds-eye views over the wonderful Douro. It's reminiscent of the busy activity of an active olden day port. Lots of goings on along the whole river. Take a cruise up the Douro into the vineyards and you'll find out how beautiful it is.

Had a wonderful 7 day cruise on the river Douro. Scenery was dramatic, the locks incredible and the vineyards and port tastings excellent. Can't praise Riviera Travel and the crew on board the Douro Spirit highly enough. A truly great week. The organised tours were very professionally done and our guide was faultless.

I took the 'blue boats' tour of the river which included a ticket to visit one of the many 'Port' tours. The trip was very informative and there are many languages to choose I strongly recommend you do a boat trip when visiting Porto. The information about the bridges was worth the fee alone. Its also an opportunity to take... More

Take a river cruise on any one of the tours operating at the river front. Their prices are all comparable and the cruise takes about an hour. It takes you under the 6 bridges and out till the mouth of the ocean. It's very slow, enjoyable and comfortable. Especially recommended if you have younger children in your party and are... More

We took a 2 day cruise. Stoping at Regua for the night. The first day the boat was so full it was a very noisy crowded cruise. There was not enough seats on the deck for everyone. The following day we had a slightly smaller boat with a lot less people on it which made the trip much more enjoyable.... More

80 € - Departure at 8 am and back at 8.30 pm. Too lang, not so interesting, tiring and quite expensive. I would recommand to make the trip between Regua and Pinhao. That's enough. When I did the trip, the music (like in a super market) was too loud. Meal was correct.
