We shopped at the Rua Alexandre Jerculano 35 location. Almost across the street from bus garage parking that many tours use. Loved seeing the artists working. Great selection of tiles from $ to many dollars. I thought prices were reasonable. Great care taken in packing all our purchases and they all made it home to USA in perfect condition. It;s only a 5-10 walk to famed Cafe Majestic.

we visited the shop across the street from the bus station (not a clue which of the 4 shops in the chain it was). they had some really unique tiles. we bought a trivet of a cup of cafe wtth a pair of eyes ... they had a fish pattern trivet I wanted to get a neighbor .. but all of them had noticeable flaws or smears (so does ours, but not as bad). worth visiting? yes... but check your items carefully. they packed our trivets with a piece of cardboard covering the tile as well as brown paper, so we got it home okay.

This is a great place to buy gifts from Porto, especially the blue-white tile vases, and magnets etc. They have a variety of options. We bought a sardine tin shaped box, that I was planning to gift a family member to use as a small jewelry box. It was around 15 euros. The only problem is that they do not offer online shopping (as far as I know), as now everyone in my family wants one!

This is a beautiful ceramic shop. I purchased two items, one a beautiful ceramic newt for he wall. Cost 15 euros. The assistant packaged it for transport home to UK using corrugated cardboard and as she did this there was cracking sound which didn't sound like the cardboard and I was concerned it might be the ceramic breaking. I didn't allow her to wrap it in brown paper as I was going to check it immediately back at the hotel next door. Of course, it was broken and I returned to the shop right away. They completely denied that this could possibly have happened, I had broken it of course...why would I open it so quickly if I didn't have good reason?? They phoned the manager or owner of the shop who said it was my word against hers. No apology, no replacement, no refund. Not good, very disappointed. I left in disgust.
