We had heard so much about the Douro river cruise to the vineyards that we were disappointed to find them all sold out. The driver trip sounded like a good replacement and I'm so glad we took it. The Douro region is outstanding in its beauty and produces some of the best variety of wines in Portugal. We drive with... More

Anna our guide was friendly, lovely and very knowledgeable about Porto - it's history, culture, architecture. We were surprised that only two of us were on the tour which obviously made it a personal experience. We walked around much of the city, visiting places we hadnt seen on day one.

The Porto Jewish Heritage Walking Tour was a thorough, informative and excellent way of learning how the Jewish people had immersed itself in Porto throughout the centuries. Ana, our wonderful tour guide, gave us a fascinating overview of this particular history. We were able to wander through the back streets of the historic center and discover the charm of the... This tour was the highlight of my trip to Portugal. The guides were knowledgeable, timely, and fun. Despite travel complications resulting in my being alone on the trip, they were happy to accommodate me and very responsive to all of my questions. I really enjoyed the variety of vineyards we visited (from large scale/commercial to smaller, family owned quintas) and... More

Joge was a great driver/tour guide. We went to 3 very different style wineries and got to try lots. It was a beautiful day and the history and wine info was perfect. Lunch was great.

I love the Douro Valley region so probably difficult to be totally objective (does anyone own a Port Wine Estate and want to leave it in their will to someone deserving like me?. We were actually staying in Amarente rather than Porto and we were picked up from our hotel there. Our driver/guide, whose name has already escaped me as... More

We took a half day tour with Anna and she made us aware of what we could do in Porto for the week. We were well informed by her and were amazed by how much we did in a half day.

We have just returned from a great tour with Aida as our friendly and informative guide. It was a great tour that started in the markets then a walk down to the river via a stop at the train station where the story behind the murals was told to us. We strolled down "flower Street" stopping for an olive oil... More

This was the highlight of our trip. We were picked up promptly and drove with Jorge to the Douro Valley. The tour was small (the perfect size) and the other people on the tour were a ton of fun. Jorge, the guide, was truly delightful. He was fun to talk with and very knowledgeable. He was very friendly and even... More

We had a lovely day with Jorge, who escorted us to three different vineyards in the Douro Valley. The Douro Valley is quite a ways from Porto, so the ride was pretty long but also comfortable enough, and we stopped briefly for coffee on our way to the first stop, We visited Sandeman, where we had a nice tour and...
