More lively than the Rua das Flores, here you will find a pedestrian street with many comercial stores and restaurants, once of those veins of the city where shopping and strolling is done.

It's a commercial street where you can walk easily. The architecture is just ok. Lot of tourists who think they save money in those stores.

If you’re looking for inexpensive but high-quality leather goods, this is definitely for you. Some of the shops are very impressive and old-fashioned from the outside, and there’s a church with azulejo-covered exterior walls. There’s also a small mall.

It's a street of shops just like at home, thanks EU for funding the creation of high streets, with tax payers money, where every one pretty much looks like every other one no matter where you are. There's a few individual shops but too many...More

During the five days that we spent in Porto, we must have walked up and down the length of this street at least 4 days. It has everything for everyone and while we were there the Christmas lights were up and the chestnut roasters were...More

You can find different stores over there, but be prepared because is really crowded. I recommend going during the week.

Situated centrally, this pedestrian street was far busier later in the day and evening than earlier in the day. Either way, it's a interesting and vibrant strip, cafes, shopping, buskers and beautiful buildings. Nice for a stroll and should you want to do some shopping...More

Looks like it's now taylor made for tourists ..... lots of shops, restaurants, musicians, and most of all, tourists. Neat spot to visit for a few hours if you've never been, not so neat if you do not like crowds or shopping.
