If you’re looking for inexpensive but high-quality leather goods, this is definitely for you. Some of the shops are very impressive and old-fashioned from the outside, and there’s a church with azulejo-covered exterior walls. There’s also a small mall.

Situated centrally, this pedestrian street was far busier later in the day and evening than earlier in the day. Either way, it's a interesting and vibrant strip, cafes, shopping, buskers and beautiful buildings.

Looks like it's now taylor made for tourists ..... lots of shops, restaurants, musicians, and most of all, tourists.
Neat spot to visit for a few hours if you've never been, not so neat if you do not like crowds or shopping.
