Visited on a Sunday (free entrance). Very welcoming staff. Lovely museum with beautiful rooms giving a sense of Porto's society at that time and the upheavals in Italy. Lots of info in English and some good interactive elements. Time well spent!

Another hidden gem in Porto - a reproduction of residential living, from the first half of the 19th century, when King Carlos Alberto lived and died there.

The house inside is just beautiful. The rooms, furniture and how everything is kept is quite spectacular. In excellent condition and wonderfully maintained. Well worth a visit.

We entered this museum on our sightseeing list before we arrived in Porto, just due to photos and reviews on Tripadvisor. We certainly weren't disappointed. It is true that the museum is not very easy to find, but we asked someone and got our final...More

Is really far from the center. Very desolate and it was closed. There's nothing else to visit nearby. Think twice before visiting
