Lovely crew and beautiful scenery. Perfect ending to a warm day and great opportunity to get away from the crowds. We were served a glass of Port wine and received a bowl of peanuts, chips and some tiny blocks of cheese and dry sausages. A bit disappointing as the description talks about “tapas” being served;) After the glass of Port we were offered to buy a bottle of white wine.

Small warning : Beware the boat is moored a little away from the main tourist area.

Great boat tour

The boat was very comfortable and the captain and guide were wonderful. The guide gave us a lot of information about the river and surrounding area. The wine and tapas were delicious. I highly recommend this tour

This trip featured a small group and a large, spacious sailboat with comfortable mats on deck for lounging. Guides were very friendly. The boat was clean with good facilities onboard.
The trip seemed brief and the “tapas” were just a bowl of potato chips, so don’t arrive hungry.
Overall a relaxing way to see Porto from the river. I would do it again.

Doro river cruise.

We had a lovely relaxing cruise up and down the river on a well maintained yaucht. There were only three of us on the trip, we had good conversation over a glass of port and some nibbles.

Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. I would recommend based on our experience.

A really relaxing 2 hour trip on a yacht along the Douro river. Greeted by a lovely crew - Pilot Jose was friendly and informative. We went twice as we enjoyed it so much and both Alfonso and Miguel were charming. We were served port and nibbles. Get an Uber or taxi there as it’s a little tricky to find.

Porto Boat trip

This trip was disappointing. The departure point is not in Porto but in Gaia I hadn’t realised at the time of booking was on the other side of the river so we had to take an Uber to get to it. It was I initially advertised as boat trip with tapas and wine, that’s what I thought I was getting when I booked. It later changed to wine and snacks. The snacks consisted of a small ball of crisps and nuts and such - nothing like the tapas I initially hoped for. The wine was free flowing so I have no complaints about that. There was very little information or commentary shared about Porto or sights from the river. The boat was nice, the weather was pleasant, it was more intimate than other boat trips so we got to chat with other couples on the trip who were lovely. But for me and my partner, im sorry to say, the trip itself was very average.

Great way to see the city!

The trip along the Douro River and out to the Atlantic was awesome. Miguel and team were excellent. Miguel did a great job explaining what we were sailing past and answering our questions about the city.

My only suggestions, not sure I would say Wine & Tapas included… we had two port tastings and a bowl of chips & nuts…

Would do it again but next time bringing my own wine
