We had a fabulous trip to the Peneda-Geres National Park with our guide, Bruno. We were picked up in Porto and had a nice drive to the park with Bruno laying the foundation for our visit. From there we had a wonderful hike above a reservoir, a lunch at a family run restaurant in a small centuries-old village, and another hike from the village to a waterfall, complete with an escort of goats returning to the village from the mountainside at the end of the day. We finished with a sunset in the mountains and a pleasant drive back to Porto, Bruno was informative, engaging, and personable. A great guide for a great trip. Highly recommended.

Bruno picked us up at our hotel in Porto and there started a spectacular day in the Geres National Park.
We took some hikes in the middle of the mountain along a big lake, and were lucky enough to see wild horses.
Lunch was at a typical local restaurant with a magnificent view over the mountains, where we tasted the delicacies of the region.
In the afternoon we continue the program with more walks to some crystal clear lagoons and waterfalls.
Bruno shared with us the history and culture of the mountains and its people who live there.
It was the cherry on the top of the cake on our last day in Porto.

Thanks to Bruno we had a great day in the National Park. He showed us the mountains, lakes, waterfalls, mountain villages, lagoons and much more. The lunch at Casa do Criado was sensational. In the evening we arrived very tired but happy in our hotel. We had a very beautiful, eventful day in the national park with many wonderful impressions and photos. Many thanks to Bruno, who is a very experienced, nice guide and does his job with heart and soul.

Amazing day out with a great tour guide (Bruno) with a lot of knowledge and own experiences of the place itself, very passionate about the whole park and its wild life and always very respectfulof the locals, which made it a very interesting tour. It should be a must visit while in Portugal. Quad/buggie bikes gave the whole thing that little extra excitement. Nice, tasty meal in a local restaurant with very friendly locals. The personal touch makes more special! Thank you Bruno and all the ones that contributed for an unforgettable day! Highly recommended!

We had an awesome kayak/hike tour with Bruno! He was super knowledgeable about the area. We had a wonderful time exploring the national park and taking in all the beautiful sights. We also learned a ton about the park's history, as well as the communities of people who live there. The small restaurant he took us to for lunch was AMAZING and probably some of the best food we had while in Portugal. We got way more than we bargained for with this trip and can highly recommend it to anyone who is interested. Bruno also sent us a google photos album with some beautiful pictures from the day afterward. which was awesome to have.

I did this trip with my husband and two of our friends. Our tour guide, Bruno, did a fantastic job. He was patient with me while I picked my way through the more difficult parts of the waterfall hike when I needed to go a bit slower. We enjoyed the visit of the village and the loved the vista overlooks. We appreciated the stop on the way back to Braga that allowed us to see the beach area and the lovely church. We enjoyed the lunch (not included) at the authentic restaurant in the village. Thank you Bruno for a such a great day! Highly recommend the tour

I would highly recommend this tour with Bruno. He is extremely knowledgeable and took up to some great local areas. Parts of the park were closed due to the fire but he knew exactly where to take us to make the day special. Our kids enjoyed every moment and were learned so much about the area. Thanks Bruno for an amazing day!

We really had a great time exploring Geres with our guide Bruno. He was super knowledgeable and easygoing. The kayaking and jaunt around the park was great coverage for one day at a pleasant pace. Everything was well thought out and worthwhile. Thanks a bunch!

Bruno was amazing! Our tour isn’t listed because we wanted to go out of Porto and drive to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. We knew it would be a long drive there and back but Bruno kept us on track and got us back to the ship on time.
The drive was simply beautiful! Very comfortable and air conditioned. I got a lot of pictures. Bruno even showed us the river that separates Portugal and Spain.
Bruno actually did the Camino de Santiago with his wife twice and we were so blessed to hear his story.
He showed us around Santiago; we stopped to get Santiago cookies and chocolates to bring home. And we even stopped for gelato where we met a group that just completed the Camino de Santiago. We even got to take a picture of their passbook! It was incredible!!
Santiago de Compostela was spectacular. Such a place of awe. We even got to see St. Francis church, though because of time constraints we didn’t get to go inside, it was still a blessing to be there. It was such a treasure for us to do this on my 56th birthday! I can see why people make the pilgrimage there. We may not have done it by foot but it was a pilgrimage for us in our own way.
We’re very grateful for Bruno for picking us up right from the port, driving us 2.5 hours to Santiago, sharing his story, showing us around, and getting us back on time.

This tour was "a must do" of our visit to northern Portugal.
The Geres National Park is indeed very beautiful. The tour with Bruno could not be better.
Punctual, attentive, friendly and a story teller.
Besides the natural beauty of the place we got to know the customs and cultures of the people, places and villages visited. The hikes took us to places of unique beauty, with waterfalls and crystalline water lagoons. The lunch, divine, in a small village in the middle of the mountain, with a fantastic view.
To Repeat another of Bruno's tours.
