This green space with its commanding view towards Ponte da Arrábida is a good view point at any time of day but really comes alive in the evening when the locals congregate to socialise and watch the sun set. One key reason why Passeio das Virtudes is the best spot in Porto for watching the sun go down is because it is festooned with eating and drinking establishments. There are two standard bars and two restaurants along its stretch, and now there is the recent addition of the Musa craft beer bar, all of which have outside tables. But then you can take your drinks onto the concrete platform of the Miradouro. A great spot, don’t miss it when in Porto.

This another park where you can relax in the city center of Porto. Pro: - the location is easy to reach by google maps. - you can enter for free - they have toilet inside the park - many shadow to sit on the grass - beautiful view from Porto Douro river - many benches for us to sit - big park Cons: - wheelchair is not accessible here. - a bit difficult to find free parking for a car nearby - in some part of the park smell poo dog and some poo dogs were on the grass. I am not against animal lovers. If you visit the park with your dog and poo, please bring the poo with you. This should have more attention since some kids are playing on the grass.
