A pretty awful experience
Dec 2019 • Friends
I am only leaving 1 star because the girls working there were kind and very sweet and I felt sorry for them BUT the whole experience was bad (like zero stars bad) 1. We were welcomed by the sweetest girl and we chose to have a package (jet pressure bath, algae wrap and massage) and decided not to use the pool facility. 2. They gave us towels, robes and slippers. They were literally falling apart. The towels were so old, the edges were unravelling. The robes were discolored, so used that they were rough and had holes. They also smelled like massage oils and we wondered if they had been washed. The slippers were in decent conditions but also old. Yikes (less yikes than walking barefoot though) 3. The changing rooms are very dark and cold and look like a scene from "Prison Break" but they have lockers yay 4. We had to wait so sat at reception and they have pretty good Wifi.the ladies did not come and call us though, we looked up and there they were (never experienced this) 5. The first thing was the jet bath.it happens in a room with tiles ,white walls, cold and with a bath in the middle of the room. The water is the natural water and feels nice but the entire time in there i was thinking that I was in a mental institution (no joke) 6. The wrap time! They came and get us out of the bath and into another cold room.this time instead of the bath I the middle there was a bad. The room was freezing. They put the algae mask on and wrapped us up in white plastic and left us on the bed for 15 min. Once again thinking that it all felt like a mental institution in a stray jacket, strong light in the eyes and very faded music in the background. Zero charm and atmosphere. No candles and nice smells (only the fishy smell of the algae) I jumped off the bed into the shower as soon as my lady came in and asked for the hottest water ( i was freezing) no soap offered. 7. Massage time in another room. The whole thing was simple and cold but this time the light was dimmed and there were candles ( major upgrade) still so freezing that I did not relax. I had asked the girls to pur the heaters on but nothing available. The therapist are the sweetest girls but they have very poor training and I think they are not looked after or empowered so they just tick boxes. my massage was pretty bad. My sister said hers has potential but also lack of technique. We are both trained therapist (I did my training years ago in south Africa) and my sister in london so.we have pretty high standards. We paid 55 euro each and though in comparison to big cities it is pretty affordable for a package like that, it felt like a waste of money. The happiest part was putting clothes on to get warm and leaving. I cannot believe this place belongs to an actual hotel.happy to come offer some training as it clearly needs it but honestly I will never go back! Waste of a morning.

Avoid this place

It seems that people here dont know what means Spa and thermal pool. One pool with small jacuzzy and thermal pool to die of chlorine. Full of people and kids jumping and screaming. Not enough space to be or put your towel. Small changing room. Terrible experience. Even didn’t check saunas.

Nice but with potential for being better

The Termas (thermal spa) have very good thermal water for several diseases. Even if you don’t go for medical purposes they are also quite good for relaxation. Although quite good, the spa could be better explored. The staff is very friendly. Enjoy!

A great spa day. It is not cheap, however, the treatments are well worth their prices. Very relaxing. An oasis in a hive of activity that is Monaco in the summer. It is worth phoning to find out if there are any promotions on when you visit, as there are often special deals around.

An interesting experience

Just take a breath and don't stop for a long vacation here. It's calm and relaxing. The water is only your first element.
