Petit and simple with not that much of history but very well integrated in the nature and the surroundings and with a very nice view over the city.

Beautiful and cozy church on top of the mountain, in the Penha national park. Even though it is accessible by car, taking the cable car ride from town is a lot more fun. The views from the park around the church are spectacular. Bring a...More

The church itself is not so impressive but the place where it was built is very special. In front of it, you have a large vertical pond. You have all the trees around it. A calm atmosphere. I could spend the whole afternoon sitting in...More

From the outside this church looks very simple and plain, and it is but it's simplicity is also very beautiful. It was built in 1947. It was a contrast from the older churches in the old town.

Really nice area to go for a walk. There are some spots to be visited, a church, ruines, huge rocks (one can walk through), nice forest, a bit hilly but with nice maintained pathes. Can either be accessed by car (free parking) or by chairlift.
